Aside from that, they should've followed NIS' example when it came to consolehopping (As in: PS2 -> DS -> PSP -> And back again). Release the first game, then add an "alternate" scenario afterward. That would've worked instead of ripping off Megaman X (well, where it was headed to before the biggest ripoff in terms of characters that was '06). Sonic was fine with the 'tude before the personality split.

But, see, Inafune very strongly dislikes SAR, with that event being one of the reasons why. So RMO being able to get away with it seems unlikely.
Mostly because usually it's how the Game Over cutscene is triggered. But having Rockman appear weither be he's dead or not is very strange. It probably felt surreal to him.

Case proven. Even to FURTHER the similarities:
Zero and Shadow both lost thier "loved ones" in the midst of a cataclysim.
Both Shunned themselves from the rest of the world; only remain true to "a select few".
Again, Z and S had to show the newcomers around in thier respective games.
They had a dark past. One was made by MM's nemesis and the other was created by the grandaddy of Eggman, Sonic's Public Enemy #1.
Someone needs to re-work the X8 opening by replacing MMX characters with the whole Sonic cast.

this thread just takes the words right out of my mouth yet how can anyone fix up '06? Can we even consider Sonic 4 apart of the "classics"?
Let's just say that Red's a poisounous color.. I shuddered when I saw red stripes on Shadow at first, actually. We can consider Sonic 4 as a classic once it does well also. It's like calling the kettle black for the most part (Sega and Nintendo being rivals for the most part back in the day, and we had doubts of Mario Galaxy after Sunshine's release so..)

(Most) of the humans in Sonic X were eerily more closer to the body builds seen in Paprika now that I think about it, comparing the human designs to the more cartoony looking humans in the OVA.

Except that had barely customizable tamers (in which case, mostly everyone and thier grandmother looked like the Season three mains), and they used the Season 3 Digimon set, which I belive up to that point Season 4 didin't exist yet. This MMO is an entirely diffrent beast.

Mostly it's just teen girls with varying breast sizes over here. One or two large boob weemonz, but it's just about "tit". I just miss those days when anime's designs were more human and thier upper body did not eat the rest of the body.
I think he's mainly targeting Strike Witches...
