- A Mario doll for my mom (she has a Kenshin and Kirby doll on her PC, along with the unopened Samani Pez Dispenser case and other goods, so what?)

- Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Girimore of the Rift for my brother

- Golden Sun: Dark Dawn Gamer's Guide

- That's about it.

A Koss SB/49 headset with mic built-in, works wonders~

It also has a good $30-40 dollar price range too.

Really now? World 5 was my bane. Cheap fall-off-the-clouds-to-your-death gimmick is cheap.

Blame the cheap-ass first castle castle of World 3. Two boos and one Thwomp. One series of misjumps can be bloody cheap, I have no idea how people can time that jump without taking a bloody hit, since you gotta keep your eye on both of them while making sure the Thwomp doesn't outright crush you.

You know the D-Tector/D-Scanner Digivice toy right? I use mine for the Bubble Wars subgame, and the occasional card input if the red button is accidentally pressed, since I have no [tornado fang]ing clue how to use the attribute system here.

Back then, when I needed info on a game or cartoon character, I usually wound up in a fansite with "facts" about the character. There was no Wiki back then (at least, that I know of at the time).

And on top of that, game systems were barely fragile like the wimpy DS Lite is. It may be sturdy, yes, but it actually has some weakspots. There were some reports of it's contents would melt on contact with fire, too.

Along with that, we had to use our imagination to develop our tall tales, with the occasion of twisting other's reports to make a better story.

That's also the time when we had no computers and had to guess what the dinosaurs looked like with our brains and had to guess where each bone went and what time period was it from.

« on: December 08, 2010, 10:59:39 PM »
I learned that I need to be more careful with my brother's DS. I broke the hinge. Thankfully it's still alive.

Those break way too quick when mishandled. I remember that happening to me once after a couple of drops, I'm not suprised that the DSi is actually more sturdier than it looks.. Tonka Tough, to be exact.

I learned of a good book today, REALLY good read. Raptor Red, I can say they put more effort to this one than the Sue book (it's a bit darker, actually going into the creature's own thoughts).. and I can work with Kirby-style humans (half the size of normal folk, built with three circles, and the topmost being the head) than normal humans.

They really messed up drawing Grey and Ashe.

I noticed that too. Huh.

But I may or may not be intrested in this, mainly because I may be more intrested in wrapping up my official complete works collection.

Speaking of which, I nearly had a feild day with the policeman in Type #2. I'm not sure what to do with the diggers though, but I am surely am thinking of something for the old man..

Though still. I wonder what the hell they did to get promoted when they were at the bottom of the barrel.

They may have a new client doing the dirtywork for them, knowing how "persuasive" they are.

Not like it matters since all the people with massive deviantart networks are going to wind up sweeping this thing.

Well, not ALL deviants from DA, just those who happen to be talented chileans/brazilians/whatever.

Well, looks like the deadline is almost here, I can wait for the next event.

The Astral Finish at the end has got to be the flashiest I've seen.

TTGL had two seasons of like 15 or so episodes each, although there is the possibility that the second season will be either better, or vastly worse.

Now that you mention it.. A show getting an extra season solely depends on the show's popularity, am I correct? Just wondering how the entire anime industry works here..

Saw episode 8. SIMIAN OBJECTION!!

To tell you the truth it's starting to grow on me a bit. I like this show, but not to the point of fangasim, how can I miss this show now when it's first season only begun?

Yay Brief~ <3

He's to kick off the spriting project, which would most likely to take a week or two to get the mainstays done (Panty and Stocking themselves, Garterbelt, Scanty, Kneesocks, Fastener, and Chuck (if I remember greenie's name right).

Posted on: December 04, 2010, 04:16:26 AM

Clearly Scanty's in an unfinished state, I will continue tomorrow if I get a chance. I decided to do both thanks to their uniformity.

Something I've been thinking up upon an unique RPG formula for quite awhile: Point-'N-Click ala Tales of Monkey Island and many others.

Overworld
----------

Basically, it's an overhead version of the standard point-'n-click game: You just click the area you wish to go; look out for monsters roaming the areas though. In addition, the mouse can be used to click on NPCs for valuable information, buy stuff, and progress through the game's plot. Here's where it gets tricky..

Battle
----------

IF A MONSTER touches you, it will send your character into battle. Although it is reminiscent of RPGs like Dragon Quest, the Party Battle System is different, you control your ally's actions by clicking on their name, and bringing up a menu like this:

Attack (Basically, your allies will be only attacking)
Spell/Tech (Same as above, but only they will be casting spells both offensive and defensive)
Defend (They will defend for one turn)
Item (Have a member use an item, then get them to use it on an ally by clicking on their name. If it's an offensive item, click on the monster's picture)
Attack/Spell (rotates between offensive and defensive maneuvers, replaces the main character's "Flee" command)
Flee (Only accessible to the player, will be given a chance to exit the battle, it is disabled during boss fights and replaces the Attack/Spell command)

If you right click additionally, it will bring up the player menu. Like the attack/spell rotation, the player himself/herself would be given a chance to flee. If you fail to do so, you will lose a turn. So be careful.

Plot
----------

A basic role-reversal where the heroine has to save her boyfriend, but she can't do it alone, three other people will assist, since the lover's kidnapper is none other than the deadly mob boss Cyber Crimson, often called C.C by his subordinates, and rival mafia clans. Technically the Paper Mario scenario, but reversed, and many humans have digitized themselves into cyberspace. Hence the futuristic theme.

I'll have a mockup soon.

Meet one of my most difficult things to sprite: A large Pixel Art with hair. And yet it goes over the 24 color limit Misadventures seems to have. A little help please?  ;O;

BTW I am making this just for the occasion of it being the end of December, and the lovely progress L3 is coming along. So far two contests are done, and that would be like.. 2% done of the game?  :\

The update for today is shading the torso and the abdomen, with the addition of Trigger's hand and half-a-head.

Toorang, one of my Sonic FCs, this one's a turtle, belive it or not.

This is him with his "combat spikes" on his shell retracted, sword out, and him wearing a jacket, a trend that most of my Sonic FCs so seem to have. You know, like the ones Bowser has?

I drew the pose first before working on the sprite itself. So it's pretty much WIP.

Aaaaand done. Told 'ya it'll take a two good days to finish.

Posted on: December 02, 2010, 10:35:09 PM

He is just one of those cases that doesn't get uploaded until I get enough sprites from this particular series. In actuality, his size by himself is 26x46.

Next time Banpresto, give me Gundam00 instead of GSD!

Gundam Seed: One of the near-overhyped Gundams in history, quite frankly, it was getting dull seeing the Strike and it's variants each time.

I just started Chapter 6 and gotten the Magic Bean in Paper Mario (Mario Story) on the VC. Now What?

Well, yeah, I would imagine, since they don't come from Madagascar and they don't hiss.

Wonder what would happen if we were to breed a female Florida roach and a male Madagascar roach.. hmm..
