Having so many hands being removed from their source material, it's not gonna be easy.

To the archeologists, this was an entirely diffrent race. It was to see if they can aquire the best sample from the ruins and use the sample for their own personal gains.

This of course, made Gaia highly furious. He was not going to lose to an old archeolgical rival, which was from an entirely diffrent academy altogether. He decided to call once again, this time to an old "friend", that's currently within the ruins. His next plan was to bribe him with 50,000 zenny if he can get the best materials extracted from the site. Of course, there are known to be reaverbots in there, so he sent some of the guards inside to deal with them from inside the drillstation.

....Then, there's the sleeping Protector. Awakening him can change the entire outcome of the race, as this is where the location of the ancient tribe made sacrifices to the Protector so they could "feel safe" in the hands of the creature.

The Protector itself resembles a strange blend of a human, reaver, and pokemon alike. Tail of a houndoom, head of a voltorb, a monoeye, and a body skinny enough to be mistaken for an Eva. It also walks on all fours.

News and Announcements / Re: Mega Man Universe details from PAX

Huh, I expected Mega Man Universe to get canned anyway from the "too many projects" disease.

DASH 3's postponed because some things have come up with co-workers elsewhere from what I've heard. But I have a feeling DASH 3's gone far into the project to get canned now. I mean, we are in the VA and modeling phases. That IS something, right?

Unless capcom decides to release SFVI SUPER DUPER TURBO EDITION, I can see DASH 3 living on. Not many people were too interested in RnR, and look how far that got.  :D

Gaia began to think about the current situation, and the increasing amount of competitors for the rare material known only by it's violent history. Which he did think, it was rather stupid to think aloud and ask one of the racers to pluck the sample. He now pondered that his excrutiating reasearch will go to waste, thanks to his stupid habit of thinking aloud. Thing is, he has mapped some of the areas inside out, and knew which traps were placed since his last visit to the ruins.

Entertainment / Re: What are you listening to?
« on: March 31, 2011, 12:52:47 AM »
Listening to everyone and their grandmother's attempts at NGE's "A Cruel Angel's Thesis". So far, there were some remixes that weren't necessary, and some blew others out of the water. Like this one mix by Hinagiku Katsura with a kinda techno-trance-ish beat to it.

So far I'm impressed by how her young voice can keep up with the song's pace.

Gaia: Ah jeez, that was dangerous. I should've told him that the statues were made of exceptionally rare material, which thou shal not be named, due to it's history.. Shhiiiiiiit, every other archeologist heard me. There goes my project.

Gaia: If you have a chance, slice off a rock sample from one of the statues while you are running around down there, I need a sample!

Hot diggidy damn, I think that's the THIRD time I heard Ode to Joy in a multi-media franchise this evening. Case in point:

- The Muppets
- NGE
- Charlie Brown's Blanket Ordeal. Yes. Ode To Joy was used when Lucy smaaashed a bust of Beethoven and Ode to Joy came right on cue.

I -FINALLY- got the diffrence between shapes of men and women. Why it took so long, I have no [tornado fang]ing clue. Basically, females are more of a "oval" shape at the torso area while the males are more of a "rounded-out rectangle" with the torso, aka the upper part of the torso.

Gaia continued to rage along with the other archeolgical fellows as the reckless drivers rampaged through the God Complex, where they undoubtingly slammed into into walls where minerals might've rested.

He then began to yell.

Gaia: GOD [tornado fang]ing DAMNIT! (AND I WARNED THE BLIMY BASTARD OF THE IMPENDING DANGERS TOO!) AND I WAS PLANNING TO COME HERE FOR AN ARCHEOLGICAL DIG WEEKS BEFORE THIS BS. I'M CALLING A FRIEND!

*rriiiing*

Gaia: Anarchy, while you're in there, grab me a few minerals from the ruins, I need them desprately for my reasearch!

Brooklyn Joey is saddened by this.

Brooklyn Joey's the best one out there. One thing I liked about 4kids is that some way or another, they gave 'em accents in YGO. This also means Pokemon is also at risk (the anime itself, considering how they just LITERALLY used the JP opening for Best Wishes, and they didin't give it a US title either traditionally) of being pulled as well. Hopefully Nintendo will be smart enough to open an anime company to keep the current season on the air.

- Which arm? His right (our left) or the left arm? Also thanks, the Skeleton way is just one of the many ways I roll when spriting. Plus I'm going for the Summon Night route with this style (the GBA trilogy, not the later titles).

- I could do that, it would save me the trouble looking for a weapons book and save me money too.

- Nice use of kryptonite there, but I've been battling hands for years, in a sense, it's "Bats vs the Joker" in my case.

It's a win-win scenario for me, because I like to experiment, plus since I draw a bit often thanks to my 5th, 6th, and 7th period classes, I always have a bit of free time to draw at school. Sometimes at home when the comp. doesn't take up most of the time. So yeah.

And luckly for me having a Formspring account, I can ask Mr. Wyatt for help too. This is what he said:

So..

- Increase forearm and elbow positions? Got it. But fist, tell me by how much? I have my trusty rulues at bay.

- I tried to do an SMG. God, I suuuuuuck at weapons positioned like that ('cept swords). I need to work on weapon detailing more.

- Hands have always been a [sonic slicer] for me. As soon as I get the poportions down, I end up sucking on the hands again. WHY.jpg.

Also, I think I have the style down enough to co-exist with the sprite style. Yeah, thanks for the help.

BTW, I follow this drawing method, but "more rounder" and body more "human", rather than "robot":

Here are the sprites that are based off the drawing. And yes, this is a work in progress.

Holy [parasitic bomb] they're alive.

Well, these guys have lives of their own. And with that, you could use this video (among others) in an argument to make a valid point with humorus response soon after. XD

I loved how they made use of the dodgeball too.

No, but they aren't as churned out as the american sports titles every year... And I'm pretty sure the Fifa games only come around the same time Fifa itself does..  -_-

Yeah, because for whatever reason (probably to save time and maybe some Benjamins) they used the origional tracks from the movies for most of their SW games. Including, but not limited to..

- Star Wars Episode 1: Racer
- Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds
- Star Wars Battlefront
- Star Wars: X-Wing x TIE Fighter
- LEGO Star Wars
- Super Star Wars
- Star Wars Rouge Squadron
- Star Wars Lightsaber Duels
- Star Wars: Demolition

... And I can go ON with this. And specifically, that's the Bespin theme from the movies on one half, and the song that plays when Luke decends onto one of  Bespin's Landing Platforms, basically.

Even the Family Guy Star Wars specials do re-use the origional songs too.

Okay, here's an easier one for ya cosplayin' blokes:
I'm looking for a well-made (Umm, not on a professional level, but good enough) ESEF Uniform from the Gundam franchise, regardless of era (save for some where the ESEF doesn't exist, well.. not my problem). The price limit should go under $300.99, hopefully. A good reason why I'm asking this is just in case I go to the FSC again, I won't be caught dead as a non-cosplayer. Hell, my dad went as Donny Darko from the movies and my brother either Kaito (Vocaloid or Korea (Hetalia, can't remember which).

.Sooo... yeah.
