A mysterious catgirl appears in an odd dress in the back of the Neko Cafe. Frustrated, she had enough of the robots rampaging across the street (in which an arch-villan would approve), she summons her own Mecha for some Mecha Catgirl combat. It's a fight of the century folks, CAN SHE DO IT?!

(note: I'm fed up with fighting myself in these damn RPs, she's free for anyone to use. I control the Gaia imposter(?!)/mechs, you control heroic catgirl and her mech. It's now a free-for-all with a Cafe mischeif sub-plot. Just don't drag the fights too long guys.. >_______>)

This is some experimental style I have going on here, which is to accommodate to my sprite style. My basic idea was to use the Pre-MMX4 shading style with this particular lineart: Have the outer lineart a bit more thick while the inner lineart is left alone.

Also, instead of coloring IN the lineart (you dolt; never color ABOVE THE LINEART!), have some layers ready for their own colors, depending on the character. The shading will have their layers on top of the flat color.

I think this is working out so far, but I was hoping for a more relaxed style. I remember Derrick on formspring going "Unless you are in the Justice League most people don't stand at attention at all times."

But other than that I think I did pretty good here too, it was thanks to my trusty tablet who (finally) came in handy, and did most of the sketchwork; following with the lineart by mouse and the rest is history.

I also sorta mixed it with the Mega Man: Powered Up! appearance a bit. If you want to know why his head is a bit bigger than it should then there's your answer.

I must've put in a LOT of practice in my past summer vacations before attempting digital again.. Heh.

As always, Gaia (C) GaiaX2

I have no idea why, but DA doesn't accept "!" in the title and I find that bullshit.

And here we have Aegis receiving a package from her client, which is also viewable at Pixiv. It's not too tough once you start making the sprite in 8-bit with a broken pallete FIRST, then work with three colors+White.

Made some improvments in my drawing tactics, I hope ya like.

*Thud*

A powerful stop causes the sandstorm to brush outward from the feet, sending various residents outward from the crater, including the sub-humans.

*Stomp* *Stomp* *Stomp* Stomp* Each step is approaching a peaceful residence, more loudly and violently as it gets closer. It fires a shot from the lasercannon, and hits a building and continues to fire at said building until it comes crashing down. A violent dust storm is blown from the fallen building, and the mech takes advantage of it and hides inside the smoke.

The mech is a 1V-004 Karnibuncle. A rounded, alligator-like appearance with various weaponry that excels in both water and land, thanks to it's designs... However, it has one glaring weakness.

*small anime-esque arrow points to you-know-where, humorously*

Well, at least those who played Starfox 64 will feel like they are controlling a starship more than having your thumb slip off the analog stick. That had happened to me a few times while playing the USA Racing Game on N64. That game was jittery as [tornado fang]. High-pitched wilhelms didin't help either.

And with that, Aero's full name is "Aero Goodwin". Heh. Quite fitting to say the least, I would've love to play the prototype, because I actually want to see the MacGuffin of the third game myself..

Xtreme 2? Bah. Own a copy, beat said copy without all the chips. I still need to do that, though. Unlock and buy all the chips. Shouldn't be too hard thank's to Mammoth's stage to gather souls.

Sake of the repliforce, eh Hypershell?

Almost every time I see a [acid burst]-poor recolor that was not done by the company (I.E. the Rain Flush Mega Man color swap).

Is your body ready for goggles everywhere?

If it would give me the feel of the games then I'll be damned.

Mega Man Xtreme (GB). My god, Extreme doesn't live up to it's name, doesn't it? Essentially, after two runs before this mode you'd pretty know where everything IS by the time you get to play it. Doesn't help that you take the same amount of damage in all three modes, unlike Rocket Knight Adventures.  -u-'

Cleared Mega Man Xtreme with everything included. Final Time: 04:35.

Elsewhere, a mech that looks like a balant ripoff of a gundam is seen causing some chaos elsewhere. "*shiiing*". It picks up a huge energy reading and begins to follow it, in an effort to most likely trash it.

The end. RPM City is pending demolition.

*headdesk* Then that would leave the mechs with no purpose other than a MacGuffin. That's why they are there for, something to go along with.

Here's the Plot so far:

"Crisis is on the rise! An evildoer has unleashed his army of mechanical horrors all across the globe, will there be no one to stop him?!

Meanwhile, a secret organization attempts to bring hope to take down these behemoths, and find the one responsible for them to bring the villan to justice. An Otaku (of all people) was hand-picked from the millions of residents to do the job, and was modified to be the mighty Super-Otaku! Will he stop this army, and put an end to this mysterious villan's ambition?!"

Yeah, cheesy super sentai plot, just go with it ZX, and ya'll do fine.

Two megaman games I will almost never play again:
Megaman: Believe it or not, it's not gutsman's stage, not even the yellow devil, but Iceman's stage. The platforms near the end that shoot plasma shots are so damn annoying to get across. The magnet beam doesn't help either because of those annoying flying penguins.

Those penguins are just easy to kill if they are directly facing ya, along with simply jumping over them if they dive low; they should be pretty easy to avoid as long as you don't jump when then they are above you.

One I'll probably NEVER do again, is perfect a stage without a single hit once. Or get through Sector II of R-Type without wasting all my lives ONCE.

And suddenly, a mech from one of the units dispatched by Gaia. This one appears to be a A6-003 Juggernaut. Armed with a missile pack on it's back, and a machine gun equipped to each finger, the Juggernaut begins it's attack.

"BOOM!"

A building comes crashing down, and then another, stomping across town firing off shots from it's fingers. Cars explode beneath this bethemoth's feet, as it resembles nothing more than a large ball with arms and legs attached to it. It's head is the cockpit.

"DOOOOOM!"

An aquatic mecha rises from the water. It's the R1-021 Gyser. From it's looks, it's a manta ray mixed in with a shark with a set of arms and legs. It begins shooting it's "oil shot" covering the blast radius with oil, and then proceeds to use the flamethrower equipped inside the palm of it's hand.

"FWWWOOOOOOOOM!"

The entire place is on fire. One after another, these mechanical beasts cause chaos the world across. They seem to have a weakness.

But where? Meanwhile, back at the lab. "There, satisfied?" Gaia smirked. The client terminated the connection, and now Gaia proceeds to make some popcorn to watch the destruction from his hideout.

"You want more chaos? Ask and you shall receive." He then unleashes a ten squadrons of AI controlled mechs throughout the globe each (one batch stationed at RPM, the other at the wastelands. Others are by sea), trampling and shooting at everything in their wake.

I really like how this one came out~

It doesn't belong to any particular spriter on the board, but it's well done, I like the KoF feel to it too.

Ya know, we should have that discussion (somewhat) like the archie MM comic. I really liked where that was headed, and there was that "Serious Anime Production" talk, and that was actually a good one to boot. We should have more talk about Mega Man outside his game-based adventures wee more often, as those can get quite intresting.

Not many are into figures you know

Come to think of it, not many are online, most of the time.

Gaia begins building some contraption from leftover parts he found at the junkyard. "Auuughta do it~" He said with a smirk on his face, knowing with this, he can start making a video game out of it. The machine itself resembles a small pod a person can enter into. Cables are linked up to this pod as there was a chair and what appears to be a "cockpit" inside.

It was almost he was making a mecha pilot game using the coding from an old giant robot simulaitor that was popular in the 90's. Now that that's out of the way, he proceeds to check up on a friend, by calling through his computer, Tachion XII.
