Blue approached White Beard, she was in no mood for his escape this time. "Tell your crew to leave this planet and I'll let you leave with just a bruised ego!"
White Beard simply laughed, not quite the response she was hoping for. "Arrr-tell me girl, did you think I learned nothing from our previous encounter?! That I did not have a plan?" White Beard scoffed as he climbed to his feet taking a puff from his pipe.

Suddenly five beams of light, teleport beams impacted around White Beard causing a small dust cloud to rise. Blue's eyes widened as the cloud cleared relieving five robots standing guard around the captain.

Blue took a few steps back, the situation had completely flipped on her now. "W-who are they?!" she managed to say taking a defensive pose. "My Star Generals, my elite guard!" White Beard responded with a certain arrogance. "I created them after our last battle, you should be honored I made them specifically to deal with annoyances like you!."

The five robots watched her remaining silent until the one in purple with the full helmet spoke up. "Captain, my forces have reclaimed the Omni-Gem, it is safely on board your plan was a success." Blue looks back, she swore under her breath realizing she had been played drawn far from her vigil in the heat of battle. "Excellent, well I must really take my leave my dear but I recommend you stay our of our way lest your friends suffer the cost."

White Beard and all but two of the star generals remain. The latter, the female bot glares at blue with genuine rage before warping up, the last one in the cape steps forward. "I could destroy you---but I admit I am more interested to see how you fair against my brothers and sister. Here--if you decide to fight, I look forward to seeing the results." Shadow Star tosses Blue a small device, she wasn't sure what to say but his sudden departure made that a non issue.

Left alone Blue examined the small machine, it seemed to be a tracking device used by the Buccaneers encase they ever lost their way, if it read right it was showing the major activities of White Beard's troops on Azure Star! It seemed White Beard was still intent of plundering more precursor ruins on the planet. Blue returned "home" where she hid the drop ship, with the device and her ride she believed she could find White Beard's points of interest and put a stop to his plans, she would have to deal with these "Star Generals" as they appeared.

I just think they made a system that's like the ones in 2, 6 and 7 but made it needlessly complicated and tedious.  If magic worked like 6 and 7 I wouldn't mind it so much but I just see it as grinding while in the battle.

It's just so boring to me.

6 and 7 weren't to much better honestly, it took a lot to level Espers and Materia up. I personally liked 9 the best for character customization.

Well it was way too easy to become OP with the way Junctioning works currently, if you just draw enough of the right spells.

True enough, I think most people's issues came with how long it took to draw 99 of each spell. Although there was other ways to get a good stock of spells if you made use of the card to spell skills.

I'd pay good money to see him jump into a battle with one of those old old gouf model kits from when the original series first came out. You know the ones that needed to be glued together and had little to no possibility?   XD

You draw spells from enemies and also from various Draw points around the world. You stock up on spells this way and can also use them when Junctioning with a Guardian Force (summon) to boost their stats, or use them to boost your own stats.

It's a very interesting system. Also to get some GFs you need to Draw them from certain bosses.

The Junction system would have benefited from a different method of getting the spells in my opinion, rather than just stocking them.

Use Draw to get a spell then it takes a certain number of turns (the character can't do anything during this period, maybe a reversed ATB gauge?) to learn the spell permanently, and keep the classic MP for casting. It would cut down on the grinding although they would need to change how spells affect stats I guess, eh.

Boss Fight - White Beard Machine#5 (Giant Enemy Crap ARRR)
White Beard Boss Theme (Kirby 64 Mini Boss) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-r83fGkwiM

Designed for underwater combat Machine#5 is highly effective in that field of battle, however White Beard's decision to battle on land proves to be it's undoing as it lacked the same level of mobility that Blue enjoyed. Despite this however the machine#5 is still a dangerous carrier mech, it's ranged attacks are varied and it's large size allows it to try and crush it's enemy.

Attacks and Patterns

Machine#5 walks back and forth during battle limiting Blue's movement space abit in between it's attacks.

Attack#1 - Stomp

Jumping high into the air and landing down hard Blue will take heavy damage if she fails to get out of the way, being on the ground will knock her off her feet for a short time giving White Beard a chance to follow up with one of his two ranged attacks.

Attack#2 - Homing Torpedo

White Beard fires several moderately fast moving projectiles, they will attempt several turns before exploding. Blue can grab and toss them back at White Beard.

Attack#3 - Beam Gun

Machine#5 fires three balls of energy at Blue, she must time her jumps to avoid the barrage however if she's stunned she'll be an easy target.

Attack#4 - Rocket Claw

As the Machine#5 takes damage White Beard stops firing torpedoes and tries to crush blue with it's rocket powered claw, however Blue's shown before she can grab extremely heavy objects and punishes White Beard landing the final hit...with it's own weapon.

Adventure#2

Blue's optics had to adjust to Azure Star's sun, the islands hadn't changed too much over the last two years. White Beard's forces had already taken control of the skies, and were beginning to occupy the islands. Stretching a little Blue hoped right back into action.

Opening Stage

Level Theme: Mega Man 8 Opening Stage

Not unlike the first level of Adventure#1, taking place on the Azure Islands, Buccaneers are common here in their basic, blade, buster, and rockaneer types. Buccaneer copters control the skies as do smiley copters and the occasional gob fish. Hazards in the form of bottomless bits are scattered around sparingly. (seems like Blue still can't swim!)

The air support was giving Blue some issues, she wouldn't be able to get too far if she was being bombed the whole time, let alone the damage done to the island, one of the cave systems she used before gave her some freedom to get around.

However some of White Beard's troops had already begun to occupy the caves too, Blue quickly delt with them and returned to the surface finding her self on an open beach.

Next up-Opening Stage Boss!

Irrelevant, Lucario and Mewtwo are not clones.  They share two comparable attacks in their entire arsenal.

I don't claim to be a smash master or anything but they basically felt like the same character even if some of their moves were different.

Honestly though, I rarely used Mewtwo in Melee or Lucario in Brawl and I can't say I really care one way or another, I'd rather see other Nintendo characters than another Pokemon, although I can see why Mewtwo is popular.

I would love for him to attempt Mining Melancholy. That's my favorite track from DKC2

Or Hot Head Hop, honestly all of DKC 2's soundtrack is amazing, so much damn atmosphere.  XD

You better hope so because the Omni-Gem is currently sitting in your base and if there is something lurking within---  8D

Sticker brush Symphony is my favorite piece of video game music bar none from my favorite game ever. Acapella did a wonderful job with his version. :)

It's not like Smash hasn't had clone characters in the past either, no reason to believe Mewtwo won't be in the game in some form or another.

She's pretty much the only one on azure star with the ability to fend off any extra-terrestrial threats so in her mind she has a duty to keep the natives safe. Sitting in a room for two years would be maddening though, even for an android.  XD
