This thread is about making up random rumors. How elaborate you make the hoax is up to you. So how do you do it? It's pretty easy. I'll make up some example for you:
Alia was actually originally created as a male robot, but she had a sex reassignment upgrade.
Axl doesn't actually have a gender because his DNA Copy ability makes this impossible.
Dr. Cain is actually Barrel from Rockman Dash. He traveled back in time using Dr. Wily's old time machine.
See? It's pretty easy to do and it's fun! :D

Oh, but you forget that Data has Rock's mind and Barrel uses him as his link to the past. Therefore, he has a link to Dr. Light! Also, we can't forget that Roll Casket is Alia's past self. How do you explain her becoming part of the Irregular Hunters if her grandfather wasn't Dr. Cain?

Megaman was badly damaged after MM7; low on resources and with MM close to death, Dr. Light had to rebuild parts of him with some of Roll's spare parts.
(In other words, MM looks like a girl in the MM8 cutscenes in addition to sounding like one)

At the end of the Mega Man classic arc, Mega Man ripped off the top part of his spandex suit so that he could achieve 200% power, and his last charge shot that destroyed Wily and his lab was called the Final Atomic Buster.

Also, I just found out Rockman Scramble Battle was in fact supposed to be the first M-rated Rockman game. In it, Dr. Light sends Rock to fight the evil cable company that scrambles out all the adult channels from the Light household. In a shocking twist, the company is owned by Dr. Wily. Jim Carrey was going to lend his voice acting skills to one of the Robot Masters, Cable Man. But after he turned Capcom down, the project was nixed.

After getting the Hadouken, go back another 7 times to find another armor capsule. Dr. Light will now give you the Shinku Hadouken which is a faster and bigger version of the Hadouken, while letting you use the normal Hadouken with any amount of health.

Inti and gang are getting together in making a ZX3 as a turn based strategy game where you can create a character, level him or her up, choose an alignment, play up to eight people as well as joining online with others and play mini games as well doing side quests. You can also pillage and [twin slasher] anyone that stands in your way.

Dr Wily is a sneaking bastard who indeed plauged Sonic throughout '06. After that he stole Splashy and removed her legs before so she looks more of a Siren, not a special kind of mermaid.
Dr Light is Proffesor Utonium before he made robots, which merged all three Powerpuffs into Roll to create Rock. Thereafter Mojo went through mutation and became Dr Wily.
In a sense, Dr Wily is a sneaky bastard.

Oh gods, if this was true I wouldn't care if I rented it; it would be hulk [tornado fang]ing smashed. After all the annoying deaths, losses of hostages, and painful gameplay, to be hit with a BS ending like that would've been a nail in the [tornado fang]ing coffin.

I was thinking about how to draw that the other week, actually. Here are some ideas I had:
-Like X, ridiculously tall, with a very mature-looking face
-Helmet just has two very tall points, like Batman ears
-Incorrectly shaped head jewel, like maybe more of a kite shape that sticks out in the middle?
-No booblights, because they're not on his X1 sprite
-Big fancy wrist barrels of some sort
-Raggedy yellow cape, not hair!
-Instead of large spheres, the shoulder pads can just be round-ish strap things.

Here's a rumor:
The White City in the X1 proto? Never existed. Those pictures were just fakes screen shots as sort of a "proof of concept" and an actual game witht he white city was never produced.

Zero was really once a Jedi! His body was so severely damaged that Dr. Wily rebuilt it using mostly robotic parts. In the end, Zero was too much robot to use the Force anymore. Eventually, though, he was be reunited with his past when he rebuilt his lightsaber. 8D
Edit: Thought up some more.
There was a brief time where Zero was experimenting with new gender upgrades. He mistakenly ordered the female ones. He found himself attracted to X. Next thing they knew, Palette was born. (Credit to Vixy. ^^)
Shortly after the events in ZX, Aile and Prairie started spending a lot of time together. It wasn't long before they realized that they had special feelings for each other. Eventually, after the events in ZXA, Aile decided it was time for her to settle down. She asked Prairie to marry her and they did. A few years later, Roll Casket was born. ^^

Before the events in Zero 4, Zero finally gathered his courage to confess his feelings to Ciel. He was rejected, though. Hurt, he found comfort somewhere unexpected. He accidentally bumped into Harpuia. Harpuia could tell that Zero was upset and offered him help. One thing led to another and Girouette was born. He never got to meet his father, though.

At the end of classic era, Wily won, Light and Rock died. Roll was so impressed. So, she married with Wily. Then Sigma, Albert, Weil and Serpent were born. But Zero killed Wily and all others robots made group
smex with Roll. Roll died during the process.

I just figured it out: Mr. X is Megaman X's REAL father. Dr. Wrlight only adopted him after Dr. Willey killed Mr. X and took his place.

Following isn't a real rumor, instead it's a prank that my friend made me to fall for. But I think it would still fit this topic:
One time my friend who likes to photoshop a lot made me a rude april's fools joke. He made a fake Mega Man Zero 5 cover, then planted it on to some Capcom's website with simple edit and managed to make as it was a real Japanese Capcom page. And then showed he a screen capture to me when I went to his place.
Even though I knew Mega Man Zero 5 was pretty stupid idea (Zero died and story already ended :P): I was jumping in joy until he cracked and started laughing at me. I was pissed to know it was April's fools day. 8)
