Well, title explains, now lets bump the google.
-
Yea I remember... Super Mario Galaxy crashes randomly...

-
So that's how Inc managed to heavily rip MM9. I GOT to try this.
-
No, thats not true. I was one of the guys started ripping it. We ripped from tiles.
-
Yes, but MM9 was one of the ROMS made from this emulaitor, they used an extraction tool. so, this should be easier to use for pallete correction as possible.
-
Old news, but handy if there's something you gotta rip, I suppose.
-
you cant play wii ware on it >_<
-
That I can't say since I haven't tried the thing. But I can say with certainty that you BY NO MEANS WHATSOEVER require a Wii emulator to extract a WiiWare game. There are any number of tools that can deal with the "hidden" Wii memory, to say nothing of hardcore hackers.
-
Megaman 9 can be emulated now. Good news for those who dont own a wii.
-
AWESOME.

Video of MM9, with Direct3D9 plugin on a weak laptop.... (http://www.rockmanpm.com/i/flv/mm9dolphindirectx9.html) (on SVN R3018)
Sorry, I'll have to go with my Wii and recording tools instead. ^^
And I tried OpenGL on another laptop that's stronger, but the picture doesn't show. It's blank. But sound is playing. XD
-
Told a friend of mine the news, his reaction followed:
Rafa says:
HORY CRAP!!!
-
Computers with ultra-mega-high specs can play it perfectly ( full speed, no frame skip, fast music and such ) though sound is always glitchy.
But WTF, your comp is even worse than mine O.O

INVISIBLE CHARACTER SPRITES FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-
-
I got both bg and character sprites to show up once, emulator crashed after I entered a stage. ( tried 3 times )
-
Wiiware's been supported since at least R2636 (which came out early-mid March), I don't see what all the fuss is.

Tornado Man (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhGdNqG61L4)
I'd like to see the Dolphin emulator play in the original NES resolution (preferably 256x240).
Oh yea, turn on "Use Safe texture cache" in OpenGL plugin to see sprites. ^^
-
I can't get my Dolphin emulator to work. :(
- I have all dll plugins.
- I have configured my settings.
- I have the latest Direct X installed.
- I ran a MegaMan9.wad in the emulator and I get this.
["Can't create opengl renderer. You might be missing some required opengl extensions. Check the log for more info"]
-
This isn't wiiware, but it's within the realm of wii emulation.

Just imagine the TAS time records we could see in MegaRockMan 9.

Oh [parasitic bomb], I wanted to make a thread about this, thanks for reminding me....
I'll do it tomorrow though, I'm too tired right now. XD
-
I just tried it, but it doesn't work for me, my low end computer fails!

Would You mind to share the stats of Your laptop ?, memory, processor, ect.
-
Well that's further than I got.
I load it up and get to the name input screen and can't get further. XD

On the name entry, Press "2", then "P" and then "2" again. Now the intro should play. ^^
-
Can I change the controls? I didn't notice much in the emulation menu.
-
You have to install Direct X 9.0c first. The Wiimote Plugin should be available.
You should also click on the check box that says "Sideways D-pad". ^^

Okay, I'll try this out.
Will it detect third party software for controlls or just keyboard settings?
EDIT : Almost playable, but not quite.
I can't seem to get sprites to appear, and it runs at an unplayable speed.
-
It should detect third party too, but just to be safe, try Joy2Key. ^^
-
I couldn't get it to identify my PS2 to USB.
But it still won't play at a reasonable pace, so it's not a big deal.
My computer is quite underpowered though.
BlackXP21 (Windows XP Professional x86)
ATI Radeon X1600 PRO (512MB)
AMD Athlon 64, 3500+ (2.20Ghz)
3GB DDR 333MHz RAM (Samsung)
Uh.
I don't know what else should be important for my system.
EDIT : By the way, I fiddle with a few GraphX settings, and got the flickering screen to stop.
I don't know what I did, but it's not flickering anymore.
-
Great awesome news.
But... I guess I'll just wait a bit longer for more stable stuff...
