I went into the store today, i wanted a ice cream. So i head over to the ice cream counter and when i looked for some new ones i noticed the prices.
20 bucks! WTF?! I checked the rest of the ice creams. They ranged from 10 - 20. Heck one was 25 bucks.
And the cheapest one used to be 4 bucks was now 10. I mean why? Is it because people stop eating ice cream? Is it expensive to produce it? Is it impopular? You have 25 diffrent ice creams. Maybe removed some and cut down the prices?
Anyone else have a similar problem where a ice cream used to be cheap, but not cost the same as a bag of chips or something.
I mean, it's ice cream! Is there a low supply of it?

...Where the hell is this store located? Ice cream here still costs I think $5 a box. Roughly. Chips cost anywhere from $2-$5 depending on brand and size of bag.

But I think you all understand the basic idea of pricing here. ^^;
I did remember when the cheapest ice cream used to be 4 SEK, but now everything keeps stacking up in prices. It's getting more and more expensive to buy things in countries outside the US.
Over the years, things will sooner or later be more and more expensive. Look at video games today. They now cost 649 SEK ($90~ USD). It's all about the economy. From Europe's point of view, the US dollar gets cheaper by the year (the value goes up and down by each day tho) so it's one of the reasons that importing is a gold mine for most people in the world.

US dollar is so much cheaper than Swedish kronor (or SEX as you call it). You can see the big difference on video games and other high-priced media products (not so much difference on food tho). I'm glad that the things I buy and import gets cheaper and cheaper with the US price tags in mind. ^^b </wii>

I think he means that you dont need to live on your own with your own income to buy icecream. I still live at home. I ask my folks to buy icecream. Or, even better, go to the store with them, and pick it out.
I do have pocket money though, so very rarely Ill call over an Ice cream truck and order a chocolate icecream double cone with chocolate sprinkles.
