Are kids dumb enough they need descriptions of who is who and what is what?
It's like they wanted to reshow th eoriginal power rangers, but couldn't help themselves to rub themselves aginst it so they added a new intro and did as much "tweaking" as they could, said tweaking makes the show feel like some awkward ripoff.

I stopped watching the intro at the very first seconds. Yes, it's THAT horrible. >_< Although I watched the series but never remembered anything, the modifications are pure [parasitic bomb].

With this, I wouldn't exactly call the manga-ish effects bad. It's just adding more corny things to a show that was already pretty damn corny. I'm not sure if that's what they're aiming for with this, but either way it is unnecessary. Just replaying it in its original form would've been just fine, and saved Disney some time, effort, and money.

Eh, it's bad, but it'll do. It's been a long while since I've seen the originals, and it's good to get up again at Saturday mornings to watch it. I agree that the extra effects at best are ignorable, but they're getting better(or I'm just becoming tolerant of them). At least this means I have a second shot at getting the Megazord I never had as a kid. D:

I don't know I haven't watch the old series in so long and I didn't really get into that one. I know I remeber I got into Rescue and that one with the swords but other than that I grew up with Nickelodean.

The new effects are absolutely terrible. Still not gonna stop me from buying the new toys though. Man, that new Megazord looks awesome :D Can't wait for the dragonzord.. If only the Dragon Dagger didn't have some retarded lightsaber on it..

Anybody notice how they use the Classic Logo in the Promos of the Show (As seen on the Blog) but then they use that "Extreme" new logo in the actual show. Way to be consistent dipshits.

Well, since the whole thing with the New Zealand casting and filming fell flat, I guess they needed something to keep the show going until they can resume doing what they do to current day Sentai.

I thought veterans gave up on Power Rangers years ago. I gave up after Mystic Force. To me, they went to far, then. And really, Power Rangers and Super Sentai in general seemed a bit corny to me. To be honest, those fighting poses were ridculious.
And the remake, hey, what new generation brat won't know won't hurt them. Nor Saban Entertainment.
