you know, if its true that both Power Battles and Power Fighters were never released officialy in the US, then how can you explain that there are listed in.........well, you know, Arcade emulation, there are officialy english version of both games, before the compilation.

What it was, that this games were obscure or what?.

I remember playing the first one on an arcade machine that had a hundred other games on it, so I'd wager obscure or released via third-party.

I believe the arcade games did get an English release, albeit a very limited one.

I think you should look in the credits more often. ^^;

The Power Battle had a CPS1 and CPS2 release. USA had a SAMPLE version of the CPS2 one.
The translation of both the English games were done in Asia, and later used for USA releases.
The Hispanic version has the text in Spanish (or close). ^^;

IIRC from my old MAME escapades, the games contain language options that are simply not able to be altered by the user.  Along the same lines as difficulty setting and free-play mode.

As far as actual machines, I never found 'em.  Bless those who did.

I never played Power Battle or Power fighters outside of emulation or ports (Anniversary Collection), though I had seen Power Battle in an modern-age arcade cabinet that had a lot of other games, similar to Hiryu's experience. I believe it was called Ultracade. o~O
