Back in my day, FPS were hardcore and you needed more than chest-high walls to be good at it.

What are you, like, 10?

'96. Still applies.

Back in my day, being a cat didn't get you instant worldwide fame via a network of computing devices spread out internationally.

Back in my day, video game manuals were interesting and didn't come in two pages just to tell you only the [tornado fang]ing controls and nothing more.

P.S. They were in color too compared to today!

Not as much of one. He actually oggled at girls back then.

Back in my day, we could actually take vampires and werewolves seriously.

Actually Season 1 Ash was probably the dumbest he's ever been. He resets every season but even then he hasn't been that bad.

Meh. He had an excuse in season 1 because he was just starting out. It's been over 10 years, close to 20 now, and he STILL has made little to no progress in the intelligence department.

Back in my day, people weren't so god-damned politically correct.

Since season 1 he has. Its subtle but its there.

Back in my day, manuals were longer than 10 pages and had color even though it was probably more expensive for the companies to make them like that back then rather than today.

Cheap bastards.

Back in my day, we never had the convenience of buying games digitally (e.g. Steam, DESURA, Indievania, Xbox LIVE, PlayStation, etc.) without leaving the house and go to a store to buy them. 8D

Yay for not having a youtube account anymore along with baseless video flagging.  :|

Sigh, I really may sign up again just to be able to watch those videos.

Back in my day, videogame characters didn't just get a racing game for no reason and Diddy Kong Racing was something different.
