Depending on how you look at it, that might be a good thing; That way, the Original MM fan game scene will be able to flourish and evolve! ;)

Myself, I think that they're using MM10 as a spiritual stopping point for the series, whatwith the MMX in-jokes/references involved.

Besides, it's good to quit while you're ahead, before the series reaches the unlucky number 13 (unlike Final Fantasy '>.>)

Fan games are a hell of a lot more creative that Capcom is willing to be with Megaman, but Id still rather see CAPCOM man up and try something new that will make me go "wow".

Actually, let's hope MMU is exactly that.
