Seems like this is a good year for Mega Man:

* Capcom-Unity held contests and event for the franchise, maybemore to come

* Eddie Lebron made the fan film

* And the release of Mega Man Zero Collection for the Nintendo DS

And now... comes my version of the classic game and story. Mixing in real life events and the fiction of the Classic Series... coming soon 20XX(in development) EDIT: "This old comic idea is CANCELLED, I have something else in mind this year."

You can see my biggest graph paper project that's Mega Man here at deviantart, I submitted two versions, scanned and photo.

This is the intro scene of Mega Man vs. Dr. Wily as see in Mega Man 7.

I must say, that is looking very nice.  And to put those twenty pages together...  I've done images piecemeal before and know how frustratingly tedious it is to line everything up perfectly.  The dedication to that is great.

Though, to ease up on your colored pencils, I suggest getting a couple black Sharpies.  If I need to fill in large areas with black, regardless of the medium, I will often use Sharpies.

Okay, that right there is absolutely amazing. About how long did it take you to make this?

That I can't tell you, since I didn't keep track. I kept putting it aside, then after a while it got finished, but I still should've kept track of the time I put into it... I just know I stayed up countless nights till like 3am or 4am with the music from the game in my ears.

I know that the next one I do, I WILL record my time.

NEW POST:
I made this back on the weekend. I had an empty Coffee Grounds Can, then went from Idea to Ta-Da... my homemade Mega Man "E-Tank" Bank. If the picture doesn't show up here, follow the link to my DA Gallery as usual. http://dragontamer272.deviantart.com/#/d50mzom

It can be used for two things... it's made as a Bank like I said, but it can also be used as a Cosplay Item if anyone were to dress up as Mega Man.

That is an awesome bank. XD  Very stylish, creative way to reuse an old can.  And it won't bust if it falls off the counter... unlike my stormtrooper coffee mug that I keep change in.

Ouch, sorry about that. Even I myself have a Sonic the Hedgehog coffee mug, and from using it too many times, it now has a nice size crack, now I have stored in my closet.

Thankfully, my stormtrooper mug hasn't hit the floor... yet.  I keep it relatively out of harm's way.

A Sonic mug?  Awesome.

Anywho... a while back, I had acquired a book of graph paper.  My original intent for it was for dungeon mapping, but since I've been beta-testing a dungeon mapper program, I've thought about dabbling in pixel art.

Since you do pixel art, what mediums are best for use on standard graph paper?
