he had this really abusive girlfriend for a long time that he was on and off again with all the time

and he told me that he got back with her

i just about choked on my soda

and then i found out it was a joke

I didn't do anything. A friend of my mother, however, decided he'd play a joke on his girlfriend - he sent her a text message saying that he was sorry, but he'd been on a gay dating site for three weeks and he was leaving her for a man he was about to meet, and apologised for having to break up via text.

Needless to say, she was less than impressed.

Hilarity ensued.

I decided to completely invert Bob and George's forums so that the top forum was on bottom, and vice-versa.  I also changed the board theme and altered the section headers and forum titles to snarky one-liners involving days of in-jokes past.

Sadly, nobody really seemed to care.
