You don't always have to use the Doctor initials for a Robot ID.
You can change those two letters to something that you think fits the profession of the creator.

Since you're name is "Mr. Cavan", maybe MCN? XD

I'll let you figure this out.

Because of some issue that came up with the Google and YouTube account linking, I had to delete my CavanALT account and make a new one:
http://www.youtube.com/user/CavanALT2

Anyway, here's another tileset attempt:

(It's Sound Man's stage, I was aiming for something like Elec Man's stage, but less electrical.)

Also, I'm having trouble coding a dashing-type weapon in the MMF2 Mega Man engine. (Similar to Break Dash from MMV.)
Anyone got any suggestions on how to go about it?

'Tis time I showed my crack at drawing art, so here's my favorite MM-1 robot, Luna Man.

http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/rr138/CavantheNugget/LunaMan.png

(I made it entirely on Photoshop, using my mouse to draw, so don't expect something like the official MM art.)
If anyone feels like refining it or showing me up by doing a better job, feel free.

If you´re going to use the mouse to draw I would recommend you to use the pen tool in PS, since you don´t have to worry too much about the trace. It also quite fitting with the official art style, since they move around easy shapes and lighting.

As for the design, I have to say it looks kinda generic right now. It needs some predominant characteristic to make it look more like a "character" and not a simple robot. I´m really liking those tiles btw.

And here's my new fortress shot.

(I decided to go for the perspective used for the Proto Man castle.)
On the left is proof of its NES-authenticity; each square should only have 4 colors max.

I like the graphic changes, but why cut the colors down to 2 palettes (8 colors in all, minus 2 spaces for black) used?

Palettes can be changed within 8x8 tiles, so I think you could change the pipe color on the tower, as long as you line it up within an 8x8 grid.

I kinda like the one with the brown palette though. Especially since he has dirt/rock in the picture.

Also the added details are nice, but the 'rings' around the green tower seem out of perspective. I really liked the blue palette too for some towers. It went well with the pink/purple.
