Not many americans don´t know of the existence of that game, since it was never released in the united states. However thanks to emulation, the tides has changed and now everyone can enjoy this masterpiece, which in my opinium beats any known RPG and even the newly games. This game causes any time I play it to me a bittersweet taste, which I cannot bear, but cry.

Has anyone played it, besides of me? How was the expierence for you? It would be shame, if you wouldn't take the opportunity to play it now, when you haven´t already.

Edit: Just to hear the OST makes me so sad!  ;^;

Quintet was amazing with their games, they did make ActRaiser, Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia too. ^^

2 of my favorite songs were...

Dark Side Field + Light Side Field = Terranigma (SNES)

These 2 songs are the most emotional world map tracks. Brings me back.
Just listen to the added violins and trumpets. Crying with joy. ;w;

The story was so emotional too, the further you got.
Also the ability to communicate with other creatures and animals. o.o

I think quite a few people on RPM have already played Terranigma actually.

Yes actually. Replayed it many times. Maxed out every city. Got all magic. And even reached level 50.

Bloody Mary still sucks.

And yet.... I can´t stop to cry.....
Please... give Ark the the Life which he truly deswerves. IT is.... so unfair what happened to him!  ;O;

Oh sweet, me too!!!

except the level 50 part, I got too accustomed to 47 since Ark practically gets ridiculous stat boosts at near end levels.

And yes, this is truly one of the best games I've ever played in my life.  And not many mediums make me cry~ That ending is too awesome and the Quatros' camps, where you can grope the woman who wants a massage~

It's my favorite title from Enix' genesis trilogy. And a really great game, and I recommend everyone who hans't played this... to do so. Right now.

Hehe, Cosake was the one that led me to this game.
Cleared it, it was really fun, though yes, Bloody Mary was a pain to beat.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Bloody Mary still sucks.
Bloody Mary introduced me to the concept of grinding for levels.

Loved the game, though the story was a little wtf at times. A(nother) spiritual successor with similar gameplay would be sweet.

Terranigma was a unique game. Not too tough, not too easy (unless you overlevel). Not the greatest, but the music was awesome and the story is certainly a unique departure from the old "boy ventures from his village to save the world" shtick. If I bother to get emulators on my computer again, consider this one on my "Must Play" list. Note to self, though: find the European version instead of an incomplete fan translation.  :\
