After replaying through MegaMan 8 I noticed something that bugs me a bit...

In MegaMan 8, Duo leaves after saving Mega Man saying that his work on earth is done. Yet when you fight Bass in Wily's castle, he uses the "Evil" energy to fight Mega Man, but he teleports out before you can finish him off...and this leads me to question if Bass is still out there does that means he still has that portion of "Evil" energy with him?

What do you guys think?

Rock beat the evil energy out of Bass.

Furthermore, Duo remarks that Bass has Justice Energy.

Yea, play some 2-player mode in Power Fighters and see the ending. ^^
