Weapon Descriptions anyone?
Momentum Burst (Momentum Man)
Triggered by holding down the fire button while moving. Upon activation, everything will seem to move faster except Mega, putting you at an initial disadvantage. However, as you continue to move, they become slower, eventually slowing to a crawl and you get faster, making it harder to control. At maximum velocity, Mega can damage foes by running into them, and can jump off them in a Mario-esque style.
Energy Flux (Energy Man)
Where would the Mega Man series be without cheap, instant screen death weapons? ...Fine, you have me there. The Energy Flux creates a flash on the screen, doing moderate damage to all enemies on screen, even hidden ones *totally not a hint about hidden enemies*. High energy consumption is the price of this effective weapon.
Driving Blast (Blast Man)
Shoots in 8 directions like the Metal Blade. It fires a small capsule-like projectile that explodes on contact with the walls, floor, ceiling, enemies, or Mega Man himself (which can only happen by firing downwards in midair). Should he shoot himself in the foot, he is boosted upwards, much like that Mega Ball thingamajig in MM8.
Fracture Laser (Fracture Man)
This lazer slowly breaks into pieces, creating a tree-like network of high pressured pain.
Reccurance Loop (Recurrance Man)
Upon contact with an enemy, this weapon will continue to assault it until the enemy is dead. Good for mini-boses, but a low damage and moderate energy consumption is the price to pay.
Pursuit Bullet (Pursuit Man)
This useful weapon automatically seeks out the nearest target, flying towards it at high speed. If two enemies are at the same distance, it will go after the one that can do more damage. Offensive power is traded for rapid fire rate and low energy consumption.
Inverted Warp (Warp Man)
The Inverted Warp allows you to teleport (UNDER ANY CONDITION). When the fire button is held down, everything on screen stops (and so does the music) and a semi transparent icon of Mega appears in whatever position he'd be in when he teleports (for example, if he teleports to a place on the ground, he'll have his standing pose, if its in the middle of the air, his jump). The icon is controlled by the arrow keys (everything is frozen as of right now), and you teleport when you release the button. Mega can also switch places with enemies, which can lead them into hazards themselves (switch places with Joe when your over spikes, I dare you). This weapons extreme usefulness is underlined by its freakish energy consumption, you can only get a good 7 teleports in before your out of ammo.
Full Barricade (Barricade Man)
This weapon is quite different from conventional shield weapons. Rather than creating a swirling crap vortex around you, it generates an impentrable octagon around you as long as you hold the fire button down. However, as it is made of the materials on the surrounding area (aka. its made of the ground), it has some trouble releasing (its harder to walk, jump, slide, ect.). This also provides an unseen benefit; if you jump onto the ceiling or walls, you'll stick and can move on it.
As you can see, I've tried to make these as intresing as possible.
None of the weapons have anything to do with boss weaknesses in this order.
