there have been 3 X games spanning over 3 different consoles. 3 Snes games, 3 PS1 games, and 3 PS2 games.
Don't forget Cyber Mission and Soul Eraser.
Anyways, I don't mind if it's RnR4. Neither if it's a new series.

1. (Best) Misadventures of Tron Bonne for the awesomeness of playing as Tron.
