Well, [tornado fang]ing hell.

It's a bad thing, but everything else kinda overshadows it. Well played Sony.

I heard no such thing myself. They'd have to be even bigger idiots than MS to do that really.

They're going to have to try REALLY [tornado fang]ing hard at this point to change my mind on PS4/WiiU being the best combination this gen.

Well that was the biggest "in your face Microsoft" I've seen so far.

Yeah, that's the big thing now. I'm still getting a WiiU first, but the less I have to save the better :v

Somehow, the message at the end simply being "now in development" rather than a tentative date made me laugh.

Wait... that made it seem like Versus is now FF15.

Because it is.

I'm more interested in these indie games than pretty much everything else they showed.

Oh the ball's in Sony's court right now.

Actually, the ball might be in Nintendo's court. If Sony announces a $500 system, then Nintendo just needs to show decent games and a price drop right before X-Mas and they should do really well.

Pretty much.

Microsoft has already [tornado fang]'d up, but how well Sony does should depend entirely on things like the price simply due to not being the XBOne. Nintendo NEEDS good games, which I'm pretty sure are coming tomorrow, but also really needs a price drop.

Honestly, Sony has the advantage, but it is an advantage that they could easily [tornado fang] up still.

It annoys me so much that my laptop can emulate GC games without much trouble at all, and yet as soon as I get into a stage in Megaman 9 the framerate goes to [parasitic bomb]...

First of all, [tornado fang] you Bamco for the 5 uses only thing. Second of all, man, even though I know I'll eventually get tired of it because the game is supposedly much longer than it should be (60 hours I think?) the flashy attacks are blinding me and I want it now D:

Now I just need the Battle Network one and I'll have them all not counting R25.

Also technically I guess my new cellphone counts even though I didn't have to pay anything extra for it.

Yeah, it's custom for the country that the movie was shown. For example, the US one has the Statue of Liberty in it.

Well, it wasn't exactly a latest buy, the actual buy was like a month ago, but look at what event was here today

Man, I wish there was a higher skill level in the 360's online, I really need that EVO practice...

When's Annie?

I'm just making this post to catch up on time since my last RPM visit, but damn I still wanted my loli Dante. She had goddamned Precure Trigger!

Hey whose main team in the first round made it so she didn't make it into the game huh? :I

You got your blood godess, now suffer the consequences of it. I wanted #TeamStarwulf but Eliza won but there was no way this wasn't ending with one girl and one guy.

It's alright. Personally, I still wonder why they didn't do the first game but oh well.

REALLY wondering what the hell the anime is doing with the story too (not necessarily in a bad way though).

A Megaman FPS developed by the Metroid Prime games sounds like it might be fun, as long as they didn't bog it down with current FPS gameplay trends.

You do realize it's only like 3 of the people that made Metroid Prime, right?

Honestly, I'm really not sure how to feel about this, but my gut feeling is leaning towards the "I think I don't mind that this was cancelled" side.

The melee action seems impractical and kinda takes you out of the game while you wait for the animation to finish. Hoping Retro Studios don't screw this up, I liked the Metroid Prime games.

It's not Retro Studios, and they can't screw up something that doesn't exist anymore anyways.

X / Wait wat, a gritty FPS MMX reboot was actually going to be real?

In 2010, Capcom tapped the talent behind Metroid Prime to bring Mega Man into the modern age — only to have the game suffer the fate of similar recent attempts to find a new audience for the 8-bit hero.

Codenamed Maverick Hunter, the first-person shooter had the blessing of Mega Man's creator and a talented team tasked with attracting a new generation of fans. But the departure of Keiji Inafune likely killed the most interesting take on the 25-year-old character to date.

Mega Man's foray into the first-person shooter genre looked, at least on paper, like a formula for success. One of a handful of collaborations with Western developers kicked off by Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune, the Mega Man first-person shooter was in development at Austin-based Armature Studio, the promising developer founded by Metroid Prime's creators. The new Mega Man would have been redesigned by the concept artist responsible for adapting Iron Man's armor for Marvel's successful film franchise. Thematically, the game would have built upon the mythology of Mega Man X, a series that was a darker, more mature spin-off of the cuter, classic Mega Man franchise.

The game would have stayed true to core Mega Man X gameplay concepts, re-imagining his X-Buster arm cannon, his dash and his ability to appropriate the special powers of his fallen enemies. Platforming elements, including X's wall jump, and classic Mega Man X characters would have been re-imagined in new ways.

Unfortunately, Armature's Mega Man first-person shooter, Maverick Hunter shared the fate of the Blue Bomber's other recent projects — Mega Man Legends 3, Mega Man Universe, Mega Man Online — and was canceled before the public ever had the opportunity to see it.

According to a number of Capcom sources, Armature's Maverick Hunter was prototyped and playable. It had a short lifespan, only about six months in the first half of 2010. It showed promise, sources said, but was deemed a significant gamble, and quietly killed before Inafune publicly exited Capcom in late 2010.

If it ends up not being a form, am I the only one thinking of the possibility of it being something like Manaphy and Phione?
