Zero / The Z-Knuckle and the obtainable enemy weapons

When I was watching Rockman X8 videos about Zero's specialmoves, along the variations with the other weapons he could obtain, I was wondering why our beloved SA-Class Hunter couldn't do the same in Z4 with the weapons which you can acquire with the Z-Knuckle from your enemies.

In my opiniun, there was much potential wasted. A thing which I also criticise is, that you couldn´t keep the stolen weapons and the lack of a Martial Arts Mode for the Z-Knuckle(which gives Zero a K-Knuckle with a charge function).

Don't you think in the same way?

Original / Megaman/Rockman Classic Weapon Fusions

Cryosis a fan of Rockman like us, inserted in his Sprite Comic "Lost Chapters of Megaman" the W.S.S (Weapon Splice System), which allows to combine two weapons into a new stronger weapon.
In the comic Forte combines Mirror Buster with Rolling Cutter into a new weapon. The result of this weapon was a energy barrier that cuts everything what comes into contact as long the impact with the barrier was strong enough. It could be used offensive in close combat as well defensive in long ranged battles.

The now actual purpose of this thread is to create new weapons of the weapon archieve of all Rockman Titles based on Cryosis Idea.
It is only allowed to combine two weapons and not more than three into one, including already combined weapons

For example:
1. Pharaoh Shot + Solar Blaze = True Solar Blaze

This weapon draws out Solar Blaze´s potencial to its fullest. The result is that this weapon acts in the same way used by Solar Man himself. It absorbs and destroys projectiles/enemies as long the weapon is charged, but not released. It can be shot in 6 directions and on impact with an enemy it releases two waves of solarfire. The charging itself is still executed like any other weapon with charge ability. New is that you can positionate the solarball in seven directions, so can use it as a shield as well.


2. Metal Blade + Wheel Cutter = Metal Wheel

Metal Wheel is the result of Metal Man´s and Nitro Man´s Weapon.
The combination works exactly like their indegrients but much better.
It can be shot in 8 directions and it flies with the same speed of Metal Blade.
If it hits an obstacle it will move on walls, floors and now ceilings with the same speed. If you shot it directly down or up it will move on the ceiling/floor in the same direction in which Rockman is positioned.
Metal Wheel can still be used as a shield and to climb up walls, but in addition you can now use it to move on ceilings.
When it hits an enemy directly it will stick in the enemy like an arrow and will damage it 4 more times before it disappears. Should the enemy go down before Metal Wheel disappears, it will run into the next one and damage it with its remaining power.



Notice: This Idea is not new, since it was used in other games before. One of these games is "Kirby and the Crystal Shards".

ZX / ZX borrows plot elements from Neon Genesis Evangelion

Knowledge from NGE and ZX is required for the understanding of that topic, so if you have none, inform yourself before reading said topic.









Although we have talked about this in some topics before I still like to talk about it.



After my playthrough with ZX and ZXA, I have watched NGE and EoE.
Soon I noticed that Albert´s plan isn´t that so different from SEELE´s Idea of the "Human Instrumentally Project".
Albert refered that Model V contains the worlds consciousness, which can be referd to the Chamber of Guf where all souls originated.
In the Jewish mysticism, it is told that god once intended for humanity a supernatural being Adam, but he sinned so we are devoted to live in a form of flesh and blood. In the Kabbala each human soul is said to be a fragment of that supernatual being.
All what Albert seeks is to become this being and to revert (reset) the world back in its primeordinal state, only to create new life.

In NGE there are the Eggs of Life, The White Moon of Adam and the Black Moon of Lilth. Both of them are Chambers of Guf. Lilith´s the humanity and Adam´s of the angels.
Although Model V and the Eggs are similiar, Model V is artifical and hadn´t a perfect soul from the beginning, but a fragment.

In a manner we can also see similiarities between the Eva-Unit´s and the Models. Each had a Chosen One or Children which could make use of their powers.
Interresting to note is it, that SEELE needs a weakminded Children for the Instrumantality, while Model V overtakes such weakminded individuals.


Here in short  the similarities.

The Game of Destiny - The Human Instrumentaly Project
The Models* - The "Eva" Units
The Chosen Ones - The Children
Model V* - The Black Moon and "Adam"

* Ciel´s Models are creted from Model V as basis. Eva was created from one of Adams´s Ribs.

My real concern is about this is how the sequel of Rockman ZXA will be affected by these elements in my article. Will it follow a similar scenario that of End of Evangelion or will we see something entirely different?
Model V serves well as a new Chamber of Guf and in my opinium we will face a opponent which will put Redips and Albert combined into its shadows.

There are moments in life, in which you start to feel uncomfortable about everything. Things becomes more worse, by depressions and thoughts of suicide, when you don´t find salvation and happyness. Before we fall into despair by our mindraped souls, I thought it would be better if talk about those things first. I started this thread with the intention to help us each other in our problems. "You are not alone" is the keyword in this thread.

As the threadstarter, I will begin first with my problem.
Today at this morning, I have that empty feel in myself and I have no idea how to get rid of it. It also makes me to feel sick and it appears so, that I have no motivation today to do anything, including to go to work and to talk with my colleagues. I have also somewhat the fear to be affected by someone.
Do you know what I feel?

X / X and Zero: Their DNA and their souls.

After reading of Marshmallow's recent and large posts, I came to a solution why X and Zero can keep up with more powerfull enemies than the last ones over centuries.
As we all know does X and Zero posess very spezial DNA programms which gives them the power of their defeated foes. In the hand we have the Weapon Variable System, which copies the enemy's power to a new weapon. In the other hand we have the Learning System, which mimics the technic and power of the defeated enemy.
These programms helps partially against new obstacles. The real benefactor of their growing powers lies within their DNA Souls. They grow whenever they pass obstacles and ordeals in time. As they grow their bodies becomes more powerful. Would a mechanical body lacks a DNA Soul, the body would be nothing more like scrap metal as said in Xtreme 2.
All the expierences along with the conciousness and a certain energy inside of it (Justice and Evil Energy) makes a DNA Soul powerful, so the bodies which contains them makes them strong.
Now lets move to Omega and Zero.
Even when the copy body of Zero was flawed, his DNA Soul or better said his heart fixed the flaws over the time in which Zero fought in this body. The body became more powerful through his ordeals with NA and Vile. In the end, Zero destroyed Omega, who used the original body.

Besides of the concept of worrying, all those things allows limitless potencial and limitless danger.
Or in other words, those things allows X and Zero to evolve.


Now I like to know, what you think of my result. You are as always open to correct me.

Edit: One thing I forgot to tell. When the body changes through the DNA Soul, it is actually the Body DNA which changes.

In Gate's case, the Body DNA of Zero changes his body drastical. Either his own DNA Soul got the change or only the body.

I played Rockman ZX and Advent again and I have often asked myself in that time of playing, if the R.o.c.k.men can keep up with the originals like X, Zero and the four guardians.
Are they equally strong or just true shadows of them?
However gameplay elements just showed me, that they represent not their true powers.
For example Rockman's Weapon Copy ability which also X used. In theory Model X would gain Falseroid DNA which would result as a new weapon. As for Zero's EX Skills, he would gain as Model Z new technics based of the Falseroids.
Lets take Fistleo as a good example. Would Zero defeat him in battle, he would gain a firebased airdash with invincibility(Flamestag X2 and a waterbased one from X5) as a new EX Skill.

You surely know what I mean, don't you?

Just another crazy and useless topic you may ask? I believe Gate would so much rock, that he himself would even break the game balance by accident.
What have you in mind for Gate when he got his comeback in ZX?

Just analyse all DNA you can gain, empower and mix them, than inject everything in the chosen one you wish.
Just imagine a smirking Gate with a gigantic jab, which hunts Aile, Ashe, Grey and Vent.  :V

I read not long ago on the MegamanKnowledgeBase the article of Dr. Weil and Albert. Numerous things are said that Model W is manipulating Albert all along. Now I want to know if Weil as Model W changed his plan of a world of living death ruled by him to the idea of the "new life, reseting the world" is his personal wish or just a lure for Albert to bait in it, to gain the power to resurrect himself completely.
What does the original japanese script says in ZX Advent? <wii>

That question cames me in mind when I walked as Omega Zero transformed through the city.
By the way...ZX was really worth to buy it.^^

Emulation / I am looking for an good NDS emulator

I have bought Megaman ZX (for only 19,99€)  four days ago, now I am searching for an decent emulator which can play ROM´s properly along with sound and controlls. Does anyone know or posess such a emulator?

Not many americans don´t know of the existence of that game, since it was never released in the united states. However thanks to emulation, the tides has changed and now everyone can enjoy this masterpiece, which in my opinium beats any known RPG and even the newly games. This game causes any time I play it to me a bittersweet taste, which I cannot bear, but cry.

Has anyone played it, besides of me? How was the expierence for you? It would be shame, if you wouldn't take the opportunity to play it now, when you haven´t already.

X / How exactly was Wily brought back by the virus?

What happened to Dr. Wily in Rockman X series?  Are Dr. Wily and Dr. Weil the same person?  Were they ever supposed to be?

KI:  A large amount of time has passed between the classic series and Mega Man X. Dr. Wily had died in the interim but was brought back by the virusDr. Wily and Weil are not the same person.  It is ironic though, because Dr. Wily created Zero, and Dr. Weil used Zero, but ultimately it was a copy of Zero's original body with a different mind that defeated him.

Okay we know now that Wily was brought back by his virus. However the question is "How exactly was Wily brought back by the virus?". It bothered me all that time lately.
Could it be, that Wily and the Sigma Virus acted in a similiar fashion of Omega and the Dark Elv causes to open gates between the Cyber Space and the Material Plane of existence?
What do you think? Let´s discuss and summerize the facts.^^

Original / What is the future of Rockman and his friends?

The Wily Incidents... a event which caused all people over the world to fear sentinent robots. We all know that Blues will eventually die, when his energy core won´t be repaired. However the vital question is what will happen to Rock, Roll, Rush, Beat, Tango, Auto, King and Forte? Since Rockman 9 we know that robots with expiration dates will all be retired. We can assume that allmost any robot are retired, since we cannot see any of them (besides Auto as a cameo) in the X Series.
What do you think what happened with Rock? I have already a idea what will happen with Rock, but I want to know what you personally think about that matter.

So let´s begin with the discussion.

I still play it constantly, however many of my former friends stopped playing it. So I wanted to ask if you still play it. Many people see in it still as a children game, but it has gained all over the years more varity. So do you enjoy it like me? I really like it.^^

I have heard many versions about the story of Rockman 3, however since the game lacks of so many things like the ingame transformation of Blues to Breakman and most important a opening for the game, I want to ask you, what the japanese manual says about the story. At least I want later hack with some people the Megaman 3 ROM, to make that game complete, like it was intended.

Today I want you to teach you about things which are constantly and frequently asked in the world of Zelda, since many of play it too. This time we will talk about Ocarina of Time until Twilight Princess ( including Majora´s Mask).
If you don´t believe me, just play the games again, so you will get and understand what I´m saying.
So let´s start:


1st Question: Why has Link in the Child Ending of Ocarina of Time the Triforce of Courage on his left hand? Does it mean that he has take it from the Adult Timeline?

Answer: No, the Triforce of Courage is not from the Adult Timeline, it is from the Child Timeline.  As we know in The Wind Waker, that the Triforce of Courage has been splitt as Link (metioned as the Hero of Time) left Hyrule.  The splitt was caused by Zelda´s timemagic, by sending Link back in time.
How Link get hold of the ToC in the Child Timeline, you  could call it a divine prank by the Goddesses like it was suggested by the TP Sages.

Maybe it is a reward of the Goddesses for Link, or his body has still been hold some energy of ToC from the AT, which caused a disbalance by the True Force in the CT, which lead to the splitt in the three fragments.
However, the existence of the ToC outside of the Sacred Realm cannot be denied.



2nd Question:  I´m confused about the Child Timeline Ending. When Zelda has send Link back in time to a point,  before their first meeting, why was the Door of Time open and the Sacred Stones still on the altar? It makes no sense for me, since you couldn´t enter the Castle after the Bridge Szene with Ganondorf

Answer:  The answer lies in Twilight Princess. In the Sacret Grove there is a door, which can travel you through the time. If you enter it, you find yourself again in the Temple of Time with the identical Sound of OoT.
 If you compare now both Temple of Times, you see not just some different designs in it, but  the enterances from both Temple of Times are almost identical, if you include the different design.
The Temple of Time has itself time manipulating powers, so the conclusion is, that the Temple of Time in OoT has it as well.
With this we can see now, that we have two different Door´s of Time in OoT and in TP. The first one is the massive door of stone, which protects the way to the Master Sword and most important the Sacred realm.
The other one is a door, which brings you literall through time.

Let`s make it short:
Link got back in time by Zelda, however this was only a stopover in his timetravel, because his and Zelda´s actions where still in effect, as we can see that the DoT is open alongside with the Sacret Stones on the altar.
Zelda from the AT has activated the other Door of Time which is the entrance from the outside. When Link goes through it, he was no longer bond with the AT and this starts the Child Timeline. This has closed the roads between the times.

Link lacks now the Sacret Stone of the Kokiri and the Ocarina of Time, which he gave Zelda in the AT, also he will meet for the first time Talon and Malon.
Since Link has no longer the Ocarina of Time, it  confirms timetravel to the point before the first meeting has occured, that he got it from the Zelda of the CT, as we can see it in the Majora´s Mask Fashback Szene.

3rd Question: How did Ganondorf get the Triforce of Power, since he can not enter the Sacred Realm because of the Master Sword?

Answer:  That is right, Ganondorf although a chosen one, cannot pull the Master Sword out of the Pedestral of Time, because he has a evil, unpure Hearth. The holy sword it the final key, which prevent dark forces to enter the Sacret Realm.
Ganondorf gained his ToP, as Link get his in the CT, as seen in the ending of Ocarina of Time. (For more just read Answer 2)
