It has been confirmed, after one recent collection for our dear Blue Bomber, that another collection called "Mega Man Legacy Collection 2" will be showing up in North America and Europe regions on Windows PC (Steam), Xbox One and Playstation 4 on August 8, 2017. An MSRP of $19.99 USD has also been detailed, with retail releases for Xbone and PS4, as well as digital releases on Steam, Xbone and PS4. An announce trailer for this collection has also been posted for viewing.

<a href="" target="_blank" class="aeva_link bbc_link new_win"></a>

This collection of ported games, like previous collection, will be remastered in 1080p with bunch of in-game content. The collection will consist of Mega Man 7, Mega Man 8, Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10, with the DLC content included.

The collection will also have various game features in it, like Challenge Mode, Leaderboards, Replays, Museum and Music Player. The Challenge Mode will have a mix of trials and challenges for each game, like example fighting against the robot masters one after another or play through every level with only one life bar. And as such, your performance will be uploaded to online leaderboards and store replays for other player to look at. The Museum will have history, high resolution artwork, sketches and other image materials that you can look at from the lore of Mega Man. Lastly, a new option called First-timer Friendly, for those new to the series, which gives players an additional armor during gameplay, as well as Save checkpoints for easy reloads.

It has been confirmed, after a long hiatus of no new games for our dear Blue Bomber, that a collection called "Mega Man Legacy Collection" will be showing up in North America and Europe regions on Windows PC (Steam), Xbox One and Playstation 4 sometime this summer and on Nintendo 3DS later this winter. A trailer for this collection has also been posted for viewing.

<a href="" target="_blank" class="aeva_link bbc_link new_win"></a>

It has been stated that this collection of ported games will be remastered in 1080p with bunch of in-game content and will be sold digitally for $14.99 USD / £11.99 GBP. The collection will be developed by Digital Eclipse Software, the studio that worked on the Sega Genesis Collection in the past.

The collection will consist of the first six Mega Man games from the NES, similar to what Capcom has done before with the Complete Works releases on PS1, as well as the Mega Man Anniversary Collection by Atomic Planet, but without MM7, MM8, Power Battle and Power Fighters.

The collection will also have various game features in it, like Challenge Mode, Leaderboards, Replays, Database and Museum. The Challenge Mode will have a mix of trials and challenges for each game, like example fighting against the robot masters one after another or play through every level with only one life bar. And as such, your performance will be uploaded to online leaderboards and store replays for other player to look at. The Database will allow you to look at enemies and bosses, and also have you practice playing against these bosses without having to play through the whole level first. Museum will have history, high resolution artwork, sketches and other image materials that you can look at from the lore of Mega Man.

General / Old becomes New! Forum Upgrade Complete!
« on: February 20, 2014, 09:56:14 AM »
Woo, it sure took a long time, but the forum is now fully functional and all our precious messages and topics are saved and can be read again!

Now what you see here is something different than what you're used to if you visited the forum at version 1.1.X, while this new one is now at 2.0.X, with much more functionality and stability, which means it has more features than the old forum had, but can also have even more stuff added to it. A few old features and add-ons might come back again after I look through to see which ones still works on this forum version, and which does not. We will also look through SimpleMachine Forum's official site to find more custom scripts and add-ons to enrich the forum experience. 8D

I hope you can all get used to this new forum and the slightly different set-up in browsing and coloring. There are still a few adjustments to change in colors and text sizes, but we should be able to get used to it after a little while.

If a certain feature or add-on is missing, don't worry, we'll try to bring it back as soon as possible!

Please have fun on the new forum, and we'll bring you both old and new stuff to play with soon.

Created by Panman at Nico Nico Douga
Approved and embraced by Ariga-san himself

Feels so good to see all the Robot Masters, Stardroids and other characters together from Ariga's Megamix/Gigamix manga together like this!

Since this week is E3 game events happening, there is sure to have Nintendo revealing some exciting colorful news, with games such as
Super Mario 3D World
Mario Kart 8
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
and of course the new Super Smash Bros. being worked on by Masahiro Sakurai. As the new entry in the series will be developed for the Nintendo 3DS and the WiiU, it shows how much good work his team has put into the game.

What was unexpected to see is "a newcomer approached" and lo and behold, the Blue Bomber is back!

And he also has different selections of weapons ready to use, including the charged up Mega Buster, Rock Upper (from Power Fighters), Metal Blade, Crash Bomber, Leaf Shield, Hard Knuckle, Flame Sword, Slash Claw, Spark Shock, Super Arm, Flame Blast, Top Spin and also his trusted puppy friend Rush too. And of course, who could forget a very iconic boss character, like the Yellow Devil, showing up in the end of everything!

And as if that hasn't been enough, JAPAN TIME is back! Which means that the Official Smash Bros website will be updating with more news about the games coming out for both of Nintendo's platforms. You can also see the new information about Mega Man there as well.

Check out this awesome "Developer Direct" which gives us a nice in-depth look at the WiiU/3DS gameplay!

General / Happy 25th to the Blue Bomber~
« on: December 17, 2012, 02:06:18 AM »

No matter what has happened lately, we still love you, Rock and friends~ :cookie:

Forever in our memories, the perfect kind.

To think that this day would happen sooner or later. ^^;

We are going to move the website and message board to another hosting plan, and I wanted to let you all know because the file and database transfer will be a lengthy one. At some point this week, the forum will be put in Maintenance mode, so activity can be put on halt for a short time, while the transfer is happening. The goal is to make sure that every single topic and message are preserved and safely moved to the other hosting server, so because of this, there will be a set time for when it will start and when we expect everything to get back running again.

By the time this topic has been posted, I intend to (temporarily) close the Oekaki and safely move all drawings and content to the new server.

Next will be the most important section: The message board itself, and wow, this one takes the cake!

From a perspective, there is a limit to how much database content that can be transferred during an upload, and the over 300,000 messages we have posted alone has cumulated to a total of 150 Mbytes (!!), so the forum upload has to be done in segments, which means that we need a set time to make sure that each topic and message gets uploaded and not a single one gets lost.

I think a good time to start the Maintenance and forum transfer would be:
Friday, 7 December 2012, 15:00:00 = Central European (Sweden, Germany)
Friday, 7 December 2012, 09:00:00 = Eastern Standard (New York USA)
Friday, 7 December 2012, 23:00:00 = Japan Standard (Tokyo)

From that hour and onward, we hope that each topic and message gets transferred safely before the end of the week. Hopefully things goes smoothly from there and we can post on the forum again.

In the meantime, have fun, stay sexy, and we will be up and running soon.
Let us know of another place to visit during this time, if you like, until the site is back up again.

Killer hair dues and dominatrix women included.

A post alone doesn't do this game justice,
just watch the video
! :cookie:

I'm almost done playing the game, and I enjoyed every single moment of it!!

The music by Jake "virt" Kaufman (Contra 4, Shantae, Mighty series, and so on), and the team behind WayForward showing some great character and background designs, this game is a love letter to everyone who enjoyed the 80s or the references from that era. If you can, please get it, it's only $10, it's on both PSN and XBLA. Relive the good times of arcade brawlers once again. ^^b

Download the Free soundtrack from Jake Kaufman's page at BandCamp.

Oh, and don't read/watch IGNorant's review, it has defamed WayForward's hard work more than enough already. x.x

Gaming / The koopalings are NOT related to Bowser!!!
« on: September 15, 2012, 02:43:13 AM »

Quote from: ScrewAttack
During an interview with Game Informer, Shigeru Miyamoto was asked several "burning" questions about the Super Mario lore. Questions like "Is Mario and Luigi's last name really Mario?" (the answer's no) and "Does Mario dye his hair brown?" (the answer is But one Q&A got my attention; Game Informer asked "In Super Mario Bros. 3, the Koopalings were suppose to be Bowser's children. But there's also Bowser Jr. Are they all his kids, and are they all from different mothers? Is Bowser Jr. a Koopaling?" To which Shigeru Miyamoto responded,

"Our current story is that the seven Koopalings are not Bowser's children. Bower's only child is Bowser Jr. and we don't know who the the mother is."

Wait. WHAT?! Then who are the Koopalings?! Are they related to Bower in another way? Were they adopted? ARE THEY ACTUALLY CLONES OF BOWSER CREATED BY THE UNNATURAL COMBINATION OF SCIENCE AND DARK MAGIC?! What do you guys think the new story is on the Koopalings?

Childhoods ruined, and so on and so on. ^^;;

Gaming / J.J. Rockets, a creation by the "father" of Rockman
« on: September 12, 2012, 02:34:25 AM »
Source: Siliconera and Akira for mentioning it.

Keiji Inafune isnít only working on Soul Sacrifice and Kaio: King of Pirates. The Mega Man creator also made a side-scrolling action game with Marvelous AQL.

J.J. Rockets puts you in the shoes of the President of the United StatesÖ who transforms into a mutant blasting super hero. Inafune designed J.J. Rockets for short play sessions. You get three minutes for each mission and that includes the time it takes to defeat a mutant boss.

J.J. Rockets is available now for Android. Itís free to play, but you need a Mobage account to register. Marvelous AQL will also release an iOS version.

What does image 2 and 3 remind you of? 8D

In time before the 25th anniversary of the Rockman series, Capcom has recently put up a webpage for their next Rockman game project, simply titled Rockman X Over.

Announced for the iPhone 3GS, 4 and 4S, this Social RPG is a side-scrolling action game that will come out sometime in the later parts of 2012.

All the Rockman universes has been put together into the world of Rockman X Over, simply known as Xover World (pronounced Crossover World). All the Rockman characters, as well as Dr. Wily, Sigma and other characters, has been confined in the gap between successive space-time by the hands of the bad guys. Because of this crisis, Dr. Light and Dr. Cossack has together built a new robot, that uses "Battle Memory" scattered across the worlds of Rockman X Over, to fight familiar enemies and bosses, to strengthen itself with infinite possibilities.

Players will be able to fight evil in this world with this new type of robot, to create your own "Rockman" and keep peace in the world with friends!

Gaming / (Rumor) Final Fantasy VI (6) coming to 3DS?
« on: January 25, 2012, 05:21:58 AM »
The remake of FF VI on 3DS this year?

Quote from: French Translation
2012 is the year of 25 years of the Final Fantasy franchise, and Square Enix seems determined to take advantage of this anniversary to make a few announcements, as evidenced by this logo unearthed by our fellow Nintendo Everything that is not without us raise some questions. Explanations.

In 2007, for twenty years of the saga, Square Matrix Software was given to achieving a fully 3D remake DS Final Fantasy IV, with a most remarkable result given the low capacity of the small graphics Nintendo console .

Unfortunately for fans, as we were talking about this now for almost two years, Shinji Hashimoto (producer of Arles Final Fantasy Versus XIII) stated via Twitter that the DS ports of Final Fantasy V & VI had "problems of technical ", leaving the fans dream of remakes on the next generation of handheld consoles, such as 3DS, whose name had just filtered.

Now, two details of the anniversary logo appear to us as truly disturbing:
The color gradient used on the 25th is exactly the same as the symbol of Final Fantasy VI.
The design of the Mog looks suspiciously like an artwork, also from Yoshitaka Amano, designed for Final Fantasy VI (small pins with smiley included), as you can see below:

Coincidence or homage? In both cases, we would not be surprised that in the coming days, a Final Fantasy VI 3DS be announced, including a global fleet now installed more than 15 million machines ...

And you? What do you think?

Famitsu has got their hands on exclusive screens of the first Rockman X getting remade completely for iOS units, like the iPhone, iPad and so on.

The Famitsu page mentions that the iOS version is based off a current phone version of the game. Not only will it have touch panel support, but it will also have GameCenter support for a Ranking mode. The game will feature 80 challenges that you can attempt and show off your Rockmantastic skills to everyone (this is similar to achievements or trophies).

The game is said to come out anytime this month. Currently, it's only been announced for the Japanese App Store. A price hasn't been set yet, but we'll let you know if more info shows up.

7 minutes of video footage is now available to show the game in motion.

News and Announcements / Interview with Capcom Legend TOM-PON!
« on: August 31, 2011, 12:59:48 AM »
TOM-PON (Naoya Tomita) is a Capcom employee that has been with Capcom way back in the late 80s, where he worked as an artist and designer on a couple of classic Capcom games, including Rockman games, starting with the very first game in the series. A few games to mention he worked on was Rockman, Rockman 2 and Final Fight, among others.

Rockman Unity's own Rockman guru Ucchy took the time to have a video interview with TOM-PON back in March, where he asks things like who came up with the original design for Rockman and what is TOM-PON's favorite stage, and other things.

GregaMan at Capcom Unity took the time to translate the interview and uploading the videos to the Unity account on Youtube. To see the translation, make sure the CC button is activated on the video player. If it isn't showing up, go to the youtube page where the videos are showing up.
