Does anyone still play any MMOs? If yes, which ones? You can post your usernames here if you want. Personally, I play a few games and I'm interested in playing them with people.
I play The Old Republic. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and I love BioWare. This is perhaps the only MMO I ever really got into because I really enjoyed the story aspect of the game. I really want to get into Final Fantasy XIV, but I don't have anyone to play with. :(
Also, I tried to find a pre-existing thread, but I couldn't.

Not anymore, but I'm planning on playing The Old Republic after I clear some of my backlog.
-
The Old Republic is really good, especially if you're a solo player. The game is super solo-friendly--with an exception of the raids, but that's a given.

My bnet ID for World of Warcraft is Amatiramisu#1603. My mains are named Kahliy, Illyarith, and Maenjolf.
On Final Fantasy XIV my main is Florence Anelon on Brynhildr.
I also used to play Mabinogi and TERA but I dropped those. Maybe I'll get into Black Desert someday but playing 2 RPGs is already a chore and honestly paying for 3 RPGs just... No.

Final Fantasy 14 is amazing-I mostly play on coeurl server although since I finished the stuff in the recent patch I've been doing other stuff. If you do get into the game I imagine we could team up or what not.

Real Life.
The learning curve is very steep at times, and grinding is almost necessary throughout.

But I have to admit the 3D is SO life-like!

Decent textures. The job system is really messy though and patch 2.0.16 came with some wonky economy.
Lighting's okay too.

NECROPOSTING BECAUSE I REALLY LOVE MMOS.
Anybody else tried out WoW Legion yet? It's been about a month (?) since release and it's arguably the second best xpac after Wrath so far. I'm having more fun with it than I have had gaming in... Well, at least a year honestly.
-
I never really got into WoW, not sure when or if I will try it in the future given how much time I put into Final Fantasy 14 (new expansion will be out after 3.5 patch drops). Maybe one day though, I occasionally play Star Trek Online too-but it's more casual and for the story than the actually MMO experience.
-
It's about time FFXIV has a new xpac. I'm really contemplating resubbing and server transfering Florence once Legion dies down a bit, because I sorta miss it.
-
As someone who mains Monk I am very much looking forward to Stomblood in early summer 2017.
We still have 3.5 in two or three months that'll wrap up any lingering Heavensward story elements and set things up for the trip to Ala Mhigo.
That being said Heavensward..from 3.0-3.4 was amazing, it drew me in with it's story and characters and had some of the best dungeons, bosses, primals and music. Stormblood has a high bar to top.
-
Here's hoping it's good, because it's gonna take a lot to beat Legion in my eyes. This is literally the first time I've had nonstop fun in an MMO.
-
I played Starter Edition of WoW about a month ago. I actually like the changes they made to the game. It makes me want to subscribe again. I just wish I had money. :P
-
Yeah, it's in a great condition. What server do you play on?
-
I don't know... It was the one that my friends play on, but I have since uninstalled the game because the subscription wasn't going to happen.
-
Well on that lovely note, I pulled the trigger and resubbed to FFXIV to casually level in prep for WoW's inevitable content lull. Also server transferred to Leviathan.
-
The only online games I've been playing for the longest time is PSO2 which is four years now. EP4 feels like the blandest of episode both content and story, but then again they still give us a lot of things to do which is kinda repetitive btw. Tho some parts of the game just makes me sick in terms of boredom but I still come back anyway lol
Just waiting for this new raid boss update in december. PSO2's version of Mother Brain. Yes, her design has that Dark Falz Ragol vibe.

Can they just stop being fuckers and localize already?
-
Or just hop in and play the JP servers and install the english patch, you would not want another PSU content drought again.
SEA server is a prime example of having a content drought.
People just gave up on waiting for localiztion already.
