Title: Hello Kitty is not a cat
Post by: Phi on September 10, 2014, 08:54:00 PM
What (http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/arts/miranda/la-et-cam-hello-kitty-in-los-angeles-not-a-cat-20140826-column.html#page=1)

Quote
"Hello Kitty is not a cat. She's a cartoon character. She is a little girl. She is a friend. But she is not a cat. She's never depicted on all fours. She walks and sits like a two-legged creature. She does have a pet cat of her own, however, and it's called Charmmy Kitty."

"Hello Kitty is British.
Kitty is actually named Kitty White and she has a full back story. She is a Scorpio. She loves apple pie. And she is the daughter of George and Mary White."

Mickey Mouse comes to mind. :P

I knew about her being British and loving Apple Pie, and her not being a cat doesn't surprise me.

I've known about this ever since it was brought up on Darkness Radio a while ago.  If she's not a cat, then what is she?  Obviously she's not human, and "British" isn't a species.

Apparently, she's a British human girl.
