I had something similar happen to me on my email once.  I'm not sure if it was from RPM, but I haven't seen anything like that for a whioe so I think it's past.

I may have seen one or two of these before.  I don't think it's from RPM itself, but a different entity using the RPM account.  The main RPM e-mail is linked to an account of Vixy's (most likely not used very often), and the spam is coming from that.

An easy way to fix it would be for Vixy to link the RPM account with a different e-mail.

I've been looking over the online list, and have noticed the occasional guest sending e-mail to other members (it doesn't say which member), so I suspect that this may be a source of spammy e-mails.

I've looked through the options, but there isn't an option to prevent guests from sending e-mail.  So, if your e-mail is public, I urge you to make it private. 

Right now, aside from looking for a mod that would essentially hide public e-mail addresses, the only other solution I can think of would be to go through the memberlist and make sure that all e-mails are hidden.  A mod would essentially do the same thing, only as a task that can be run.

So, if you're getting spam, HIDE YOUR E-MAIL.

Basically, just make sure that "Allow users to e-mail you" box is unchecked and you're good to go.

QuickEdit: I'm hiding e-mails as I come to them, so several users have been fixed already.

I've had that option set from day one.

Then again, I've always been very against the idea of letting aspects of my life bleed over into other aspects.

What happens on RPM stays here unless I'm talking to somebody from RPM on skype or something. The occasional Automatic email from getting a new PM or Admin email is okay though.

But I've had that box unchecked for a while and I'm still getting the spam emails. Strange.
