Title: We need a new 2D Metroid game

And not just any 2D Metroid game.  A prequel where you play as loli Samus, being raised by the Chozo, after Ridley Batman's your parents.  The perfect game.

Seriously, this, in gameplay.  How could that not be awesome?  In no way whatsoever, that's how.

Okay, see, the rest of the world reads "Other M it" as "imply that watching your parents die at 3 years of age is traumatizing to a girl, and that's totally sexist against girls because boys would become Batman."  Whereas I read "Other M it" as "craft a pretty damn good if mildly confusing story which completely forgot around the final boss that it's a game story and not a movie story, and is thusly out of pace."

I have no idea whether or not either of those are what you meant.

If I recall correctly, I think metroids do grow to a point where they actually have limbs (if Metroid Fusion's final boss is anything to go by). So probably.
