Title: PSP Homebrew Question
Post by: Waifu on December 31, 2012, 06:27:07 PM: I am looking to put some homebrew or emulation on my PSP but I wonder about the risks as well as the rewards of the homebrew. I have PSP 3000.

So, alright. To be brief: If you incorrectly install a custom firmware on to your PSP, there's a chance you could render it entirely useless -- IE "brick" it. However, by this point, installing custom firmware is pretty much foolproof. And of course, once it's installed, you get to do things like play emulators, run custom software, and maximize the potential of your PSP considerably! (I love overclocking my PSP. <3)

All and all, the benefits far outweigh the risks, if you're willing to take the risks. :3

Awwww.... don't say that.

In any case, PSP 3000 is pretty much hackable on any firmware. Just look it up and do intensive RESEARCH into it.
