If Mega Man X were an anime, who would be the studio to do the job, and would they expand on the Day of Sigma OVA if they did? I don't think IHX2 won't be happening anytime soon, and after knowing that most Mega Man X anime often ended up in cutscenes, and the success of other Mega Man-related cartoons and anime, I bet it can handle it's own as an anime.

We already had some sort of surfer voice with Lucas Gilbertson, so Brooklyn Zero would be possible. Though honestly Axl should be the one with a Brooklyn accent.

There's your show intro. Do it. I'll give you my bank account(s), and you can throw all the money at that studio to produce like 5 or 10 seasons of that.
Before someone posts Rockman Holic/X4: yes, those kicked ass too, but I'm in love with the retro art style going on in X3's intro. I really want to see that show.

Well, they were milking X3 at the time, almost as freakishly similar to what happened with Battle Network 3, as I always thought that this was made to be an anime OP, given the way it was handled compared to X4, which had an entirely different anime genre in mind. But it was dumbed down to PSX OP.

That opening is baaaad. Unfitting music, and shitty animation.
X4 was much better. Sure the music didn't fit that much (This is actually one of the times where I prefer the english op music), but at least it could be called animation.
You know what I am pissed about? That they never ported Rockman & Forte to PSX/Saturn and gave it an animated opening.

I think that the English OP for X3 is better than the Japanese one, i also think that the music on the Jap OP just doesnt fit it. Same goes for X4, i love the music on the English OP.

Well, [tornado fang] you too, Tron! I love Shibuya's work. The English OP's decent for a generic rock intro, but it doesn't have nearly as much soul as One More Time. Whether or not the latter fits with Mega Man X doesn't register as much as how bland the former is in comparison.
Even the sound effects aren't as cool. The European surrogates just don't beat those classic Gundam sounds.
X4 and X5 English OPs, on the other hand? Way more competent. Makenai ai somethin or other fits the action much less than One More Time does, and unfortunately there isn't much action to speak of in X5's intro.

I love One More Time, it's one of my favorite Megaman X OPs. I also like X4's OP but I felt it would have fit a shoujo anime better, though my favorite X OP is X8's Wild Fang. Speaking of which I think that Wild Fang could be a opening to the anime, and for some reason I think if you put it with the X3 OP it will sync up.

Even though it'll never happen I'd like to see what kind of non-sigma incidents happen. I'd alos like to think they'd use some of the music from the games. As long as they do that and avoid 4kids I'm game. =]

Nice song, but arguably the most out-of-place-sounding ones for a Mega Man X game. It sounds like it belongs on a Japanese romantic comedy set in highschool.

Man, all of these can be intros. It's just a question of sequence. Considering how dark the games get by the time around X5 and X6, Showtaro's Moonlight would be extremely appropriate.

MMX Intro SAGA-6 For sure. Ironic it'd be the same as the games intro..But it's so freaking in nature of the events happening then. Yeah could work with 5 as well.

You know that's exactly what that'll be. >0< still loving that tune! Would be great in a Roll-Chan anime. All we'd need now is a sakura blossom splash before the animation starts and such. Just like right on Que.

I do agree that Wild Fang makes a much better opening than Moonlight, but I love the TvC version of Roll's theme more than the original version. I like the MvC version a lot but the TvC version sounds more human if that makes sense, and I'm a sucker for random sound effects in a rhythm like that reel.

Eh I don't think age has much to do with it rather than preference. I mean I love old anime openings like Slayers, Yatter man, and the first Saber Marionette J.

Considering how Capcom did a lot of animated bits for Mega Man X games before, I say this was meant to happen.
Well, you know, up until Capcom changed.

I'm actually afraid an anime series of X will be as poorly written and unfocused as the series itself. Also redundant.
The only sagas that might be good in an X anime is the beginning (X1) and the Repliforce saga. After that, it'll sort of end (reach its peak), only to keep going and stagnate quickly. But by then it'll have already set up for a Mega Man Zero anime, so nobody but X fans will give a [parasitic bomb].
On the other hand, it could be unusually well-written and revised, like the Archie comics are now for Mega Man.
Actually, I'd totally like to see a Mega Man Archie show first.
