So, who else here reads/watches this?

I find it to be incredibly enjoyable.

It's light hearted. It's drama free. It's fun. It has bizarre beasts. It's about food and adventures.

This entire things looks and reads like an 80s manga. It has the incredibly muscular men and the wonky anatomy. I swear when I first read it I thought it was 20 years old, but it's from 2008.

First time i've heard of it. I'm not that into manga reading at all. 90% of my Japan-entertainment fix comes from watching anime. The 10% is just from reading the Tsukihime manga.

I might give it a shot one of these days though.

The manga is indeed an enjoyable read. I rather like monster designs (as silly as some of them may be, even if the style gives the a more semi-realistic look). The cast of characters/villains are fun too.

Haven't seen the anime yet though.

Haven't seen the anime yet though.

It's quite good. Well animated action scenes and rather true to the manga.

Wow, you mean I'm NOT the only one that read this every week here? Awesome.

It's quite good. Well animated action scenes and rather true to the manga.

They toned down violence and added a female reporter to the recurring cast for whatever reason from what I hear, so it's not exactly true, but it does its job. Haven't had the chance to watch it myself though.

It's true. I can tell you why: To raise the amount of relevant girls.

The mange is filled with guys and girls hardly ever show up.

I read it weekly, it's part of my most anticipated four mangas of the week. (The other three being Hajime no Ippo, Fairy Tail and Kenichi)

I started when it reached it's 100th or so chapter and i've never really looked back, it's a really enjoyable manga and i've not once been bored.

Why not both?

The anime so far only has 16 episodes. Might watch them all and decide if you wanna keep watching or focus on the anime.

Why not both?

Because i want to choose one that i'll ultimately stick with.

If it's only 16 episodes in, i'll start with that.
