Title: Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom Footage: Roll Gameplay, Opening Cutscene
Post by: TheDivine on December 10, 2008, 02:18:05 PM: Protodude has posted up two videos (http://protodudesrockmancorner.blogspot.com/2008/12/tatsunoko-vs-capcom-footage-roll.html) of Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, the opening cutscene and some gameplay footage of Roll.

Post by: Hypershell on December 10, 2008, 05:08:32 PM: Nice quality in the opening cutscene, and the theme music is catchy. But I think there are a bit too many static scenes. There's not a whole lot actually happening. Still, Roll looks amazingly cute wielding a broom.

And looking at the Roll "gameplay"......seems like for the most part they were just standing there enjoying her theme song.

Let's see.. Casshern, G-Force, Speed Racer.. only one's I'm familiar with. (hinting, magical girl with paper powers, I always never finish that anime, always at the point where bouncie's betrayal when the city is revived and a certain song is played)

Post by: Satoryu on December 10, 2008, 11:05:44 PM: i of course know Speed Racer. i definitely know Ken the Eagle, though i remember him as Ace Goodheart. same goes for Jun the Swan. i know who Casshern is only because of all the hype Sins is getting. i've heard of Tekkaman somewhere before. the rest, no clue.

Definitely a round of applause in order for the new guitar stylings in the main phrases! That's just wicked!

Buuut, I still prefer the MvsC1 version.

Yay for that song that sounds like Dancing Queen for a couple bars in the middle!
