Hey gang! Matt here from UDON comics.
Just joined the Rockman PM board to let you all know that Mega Man Megamix Vol.1 by Hitoshi Ariga has just arrived today in comic shops everywhere! If you don't have a comic shop near you, the book will be available in regular book stores and online retailers like amazon.com any day now.

When I go to my comic book store this weekend they BETTER have this, being in another country is no excuse when they get US comics/manga anyways >_>

I preordered both volumes. There was no way I was letting this one slip by. Sadly the shipping date is May 14 from Amazon... Also waiting for Udon's Art of Capcom which I have on back order from Amazon. I really like the work you guys do, especially the Street Fighter comic series.

Well I just finished it, and I must say it was an absolute pleasure to read. I can't wait for Volume 2 next month. I'm also looking forward to the ZX Manga coming as well.

Amazon should be shipping their copies any time now (definitely not May...should be within days). As for UDON's Art of Capcom, it's currently out of stock, but we are reprinting it for the summer, probably in June.

What about the Zero OCW? Amazon had to cancel my order a few weeks ago because none were left =/

Yeah, Sato and I had trouble finding the Zero OCW in stores not too long ago.

B&N doesnt have it, and Borders only has it available online. Why Cant stores just carry them? I cant buy things online without asking my folks to buy it for me, and they give me that look.

This one is also going back to print, but sooner than Art of Capcom. Zero OCW should be back in stores by May.

Borders did order copies as well, but big chain stores are much slower at putting out new product than Amazon or comic shops. I don;'t know if everystore will get some copies, but check back in a week or two.

Safe to say I WILL get it relatively soon one way or another, but God, I hate waiting. Suspense is killing me XD

I recommend Comic Shops as the best places to get the OCW books. That's where I picked up all of mine.

Something just occurred to me--how does UDON's translation holdup against Rockman Tanjou's?Apart from the English names, are there any other notable differences?

I recommend Comic Shops as the best places to get the OCW books. That's where I picked up all of mine.
I have OCW, Its Megamix I want. My local Comic book store doesnt have it on their website, (but then again, their website kinda sucks.) I might take a trip to see if they have it in store.

At any rate, I will make sure to snag vol. 1 (and possibly 2) at some point, as Mega Man manga never got licensed here before. I'm hoping that Gigamix will be brought, too! ;)
By the way, Matt, I must say that I can't thank you and your company enough, for bringing MMOCW over here! owob Being a dedicated Classic series fan since the old days, it makes me proud to finally look at all the great Mega Man artwork in a book! 8)
Though I hope that Capcom will do a R30 book at some point, as MMOCW's missing some American box art, the majority of the Nintendo Power illustrations (including those for the MM6 robot master contest) and all the MM9 art. ;)

Goddamn. I live in Polond... I'll have to get this stuff, as soon as that goddamn import e-store with BOOKS will have it in their catalogue.
Also, thanks to you guys at Udon. You guys have no idea, how much I wanted this to happen one day... as in, that I would be able to buy it in a language I understand.
I would also get one of your artbooks... but (double) damn... I still have not enough money for them. : <

It's definitely not sold out, as I said Amazon should be updating their status of the book any day.

It came in today!
Copy pasting English over the Japanese sound effect words looks a little cluttered and confusing at times though. It sometimes also looks like its covering a lot of the art in some cels too.
Otherwise its pretty cool.

I finally got mine in the mail.
Out of all the Megaman licensed stories, from the OVAs to Captain N to Dreamwave's MM comic this is the only one I gotta say is a must buy for every classic MM fan.
If your a fan buy it. If you don't have the money, resort to thievery and then buy it.

Been stoked for this ever since it was announced. There was a time that I thought this would never get translated and put in stores. If I have any cash left after the usual bill payments this week, I think I'll treat myself to a copy.

I just hope they get me this awesome thing quickly.
I also hope, volume 2 won't be delayed, because it would be awesome to get it not too long ago after the first one. : D

Hey! Does anybody know if volume 2 of Megamix is getting released this month, or next?
Amazon says something different, Udon's website says something different.
