Title: The Hardest Wily Fortress stages
Post by: Waifu on February 21, 2009, 06:56:40 AM: I had replayed the games recently and although I had some trouble in the the stages themselves, I always seem to have a lot of trouble in the Wily stages. I know you all probably noticed that the Fortress stages in MM Universe are basically a combination of the 8 robot master stages you already beaten and there are usually more difficult than those stages. My question which do you believe is the hardest Wily stages? I had a hard time with the Wily stages of MM2, the Protoman stages and MM7 stages. I are a hard time with time with those stages but what stages did you have a hard with?

its like the game was made for Bass... then they suddenly remembered it was a megaman game, and threw Megaman in there at last minute.

Post by: Reg on February 21, 2009, 09:28:08 PM: Ditto on King stage 2. Its just sheer torture. The music playing during the boss fight just makes it all the more grueling. I'm sad now. :'(

The first stage of MM7's. With the moving dump platforms that turn off the lights... try it without S. Adapt! XD

And yes, pretty much 80% of MM&B (Intro Stage and Cold Man are cool enough, then it's a [sonic slicer]!). But ESPECIALLY King's Fort #2. >.<

(MM8's was a BREEZE! Boss fight took forever and a day, but it was just long, not really hard.)

I can't say that all of them are the term "Hard". But they can be long, tedious and challenging to go through. ^^

(I'm guessing MM8's isn't - I mean, who's getting through that "trick jump" in Wily Stage 1 on Buster-Only terms? Nobody I know. I don't even think SearchMan's level is navigable without either MegaBall or Thunder Claw.)

If I don't have access yet, I switch to the next boss with the next number.

Thunder Claw is only needed when it's needed.
You know, to get across spikes on floor and ceilings.

I haven´t got it, that you have to use the Items 1, 2 and 3 to process your way. And in the end I was always screwed when I encountered the fourth boss, because I couldn´t use Crash Bomb properly. 8)
