One word. Torrent.

Sorry to say, but that's how it works.
Add the word PSP and torrent while you look for a game you want on Google.
This is the "only" piracy tip I'm allowed to give you. ^^

Oh, you must head over to Dark Alex's website if you want to keep your PSP up-to-date with a custom firmware. (http://alek.dark-alex.org/pspwiki/index.php/Main_Page)

This is my list if you're interested. (330+ games and still going strong~) >U< (http://lol.rockmanpm.com/pspcollection.png)

Right when you open the Memory Stick after a USB Connection, throw all your games into a folder called ISO.
Make one if there's no folder. ^^

thanks

what format does file need to be when downloaded it said corrupted file in the psp?

It can be .iso, .cso or .dax. If the game is an eboot.pbp, it should be moved to ms:\PSP\GAME (ms = memory stick), and make a folder for the eboot with any folder name you like. It would be good to know what firmware you have, so you don't get the wrong kind of help. o.o

You can convert your game to different file formats with UMDGen. ^^ (http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/948)

does it matter if the ISO is lower case for the type ex. one of the games on mine has (.ISO) and one i downloaded says (.iso)

forgot to mention it was my bro in law's cousin's psp first it had some games there first

No, not at all. It should work either way.
But it's best to stick with lower case. ^^

Has the games worked so far? o.o

Another good site to get psp games is pspiso.com You can find game saves, psp games, psx games, and other psp emulators. Also, dax format won't work. That was a custom made format made by psp modder DarkAlex for his own personal uses.  ;)

I hope to get an answer for this soon. ^^;

I have PSP-1000. I've been staying with Dark Alex's M33 firmware (because I respect him and all, and the firmware has worked wonderfully), I'm using 5.00 M33-6 (that is the latest DAX firmware I think). Is it worth it to upgrade to 5.50 GEN? I'd really love to try out Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny, Tales of VS. and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker DEMO, but I've also seen some decryption tools that can patch the games. I know how to use UMDGen 4 for replacing files and things like that. Should I go for the upgrade or can I play those games with M33 already? OvO;

Try out this little doodad. It works on 5.00 M33 as well. Gotham and I are going to use it to play Tales of Vs.

What he said, Vixy. It works like a charm and you won't have to upgrade to GEN if you're not sure. At least, if you do, you can always downgrade.. However, from what I've heard, if you use the 1.50 kernel stuff on the 1000, you're going to lose that on GEN.

I've decrypted Tales of Vs and it works fine on my 2000 with M33-6. I've also got extract instructions on how to do it. So no need to upgrade yet.

Just give me a shout if you need help on it

Most of the time, the Loading text in the Loading screen for Soul Calibur changes to 1236. The game breaks when it happens.

Tales of VS works just fine. ^^

I've heard some games still have trouble. We'll just have to wait and see.
