Someone on Schwer and Schwer Alike posted a damage data chart for Freudenstachel, so you can identify bosses' weaknesses. The only question that remains is which of the eight girls is the easiest to defeat with only Freudenstachel.

Oh that's what it actually is? I was gonna say something, but I didn't wanna be too much of a smart-ass.
Yep. Eifer as Dr. Wright, with of course the real Dr. Wright questioning. I could do this to any Game Overs thrown at me.

Darn, I never expected a well-done Street Fighter motif. 8)
I recognise the second Game Over as Sim City.
And I knew that "Karl Belmont" design would be canon!
Off-topic, but the RKS music section is dead; the link to the old soundtrack seems to be down. 8U

Oooo, this is like Mega Mari, right? This is interesting.

RKS and its sequel could be considered in many ways to be MegaMari but with a toned-down difficulty and Castlevania-esque visuals, except all the stuff that looks out of place in RKSF...
...like the first part of Schwer's level, the claw thing with Dr. Cossack's mug on it, and the giant Beat lookalike Freudia catches a ride on.
Original / Re: The MM3 RMs: Light/Wily made?
« on: October 20, 2012, 06:24:00 AM »
For myself, I always considered the MM3 Robot Masters to be made by Wily alone, though (IMO) Dr. Light may had contributed something to the Masters before they began their chaos. Further in how I believe Wily made the Masters with no one else helping could be linked back to Super Adventure Rockman, with how the MM1 Masters were on Rockman's side since they were Light's robots prior to reprograming, while the second and third games' Masters were opponents due to being all Wily's creations.

Air Shooter or Dive Missile. They're very similar colors though.

A good number of Rockman hacks, since ~Freudenstachel~ got me into a Rockman phase.

His right forearms is pretty short (the right one is a bit too, but not by much), and the waist is really low. And maybe it's just me, but the pose is kinda awkward :P

I made a quick draw-over, hope you don't mind.

Thank you very much; this helped me in fixing the parts that were off.

And considering how this is a nine-month bump, I do have new art to show. For simplicity reasons and to keep the post from going too long, I'm only posting three specific works:

Criticism is welcome. :)

Just felt like mentioning I found out on the white chamber last night.

Also: FegaMan vs. the World, an insane Rockman clone. It may not be horror themed, but it's still something.

Sonic Robo Blast 2. Good, but a little hard to learn at first (IMO).

I'm seeing a fan translation of the PC version of Shikigami no Shiro on another forum, and hope those guys will get the translations of game right. From what I'm seeing they're working on Shikigami no Shiro EX (the first game's Japanese PC port). Hopefully they'll work on the sequels afterwards.

Well there's only the need to translate the first two games, as the third's Wii port was near perfect with it's dialogue. And on the topic of RKS, WOMI posted several new screens on his dev-blog, including boss prelude dialogue scenes with Zorne and Sichte.

You know I was just about to make a post on SMBC with Wily. Looks like you beat me to it. :P

The two-toned coloring and the linework is looking nice.  However, there are some issues with her proportion and foreshortening.  And again, I must point out the arms; they are too short.  A lil trick for determining how long to make the forearm:  Your foot is the exact same length as your forearm, from wrist to elbow.

When doing complicated poses like that, where the character is leaning their weight onto one leg and the camera is at their hip level, it helps to have someone model for you.  That way, you can get a feel for how their legs work at that angle.

Alrighty. Thank you for the criticism. I tried to extend the arms for my next character, and improve other parts, and this was the result:

It's still in progress; just posting the WIP just so I can actually try to get honest criticism so I can fix the mistakes before I begin shading and add the background.

I must get this.

Yeah, that's a pretty fun game. Wish you could be able to change the controls though, the button mapping is a bit hard to get used to.

I know how you feel.

Usually I prefer games with two or more buttons to have X as the primary "Jump" and Z as the secondary "Shoot" keys. So these might take a bit of time to get used to, at least in my perspective.

Thank you three for the criticism. It's my first time trying a new style, so I'll try to make the anatomy more accurate next time. Can't guarantee that it will be spot on, but we'll see.

Aquanoid is what I'm playing right now. It's an Arkanoid clone for DOS with a large variety of powerups.

DASH / Re: It's dead, Jim.
« on: July 19, 2011, 04:45:06 AM »
Despite me not having as much interest in the DASH subseries as I do with the original and X series, I would have probably considered getting this one.

But after the departure of Keiji, it was almost obvious this project would go dead, after we saw what happened to Universe. -AC
