Topic: Tictacs Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (PSP)

Aside from having a really stupid subtitle, the game itself is pretty cool.  I never played the original, but it feels way more like FFT than those embarrassing Advance games.  It's also really hard and complicated.

I'm terrible at RPGs, so I already had to restart twice.  Like an hour into the game I realized I spelled my name wrong (I used an uppercase I instead of an L — BOTH THE EXACT SAME SYMBOL ON THE NAMING SCREEN).  Wish me luck on attempt #3.

Anyone else playing this?

I'm probably going to start a runthrough of this sooner or later. I played the hell out of the original a long time ago, should be interesting to see how it stands nowadays.

The original has an insane levelling curve, I never got past the third mission because looking at that 2 xp per hit made me despair.

The Ogre Battle series has many Queen references. "Ogre Battle" itself is a song by Queen.

It's a fine song title.  I think it's less badass than "The Lion War" or whatever FFT had.
