I bought it from the eshop, it seems pretty cool. You can share your stuff via QR codes, and connect each other DS's wirelessly.

It uses the BASIC programming language script, though a different kind of BASIC language so I've read. I have yet to make my own games with this. I have used the QR reader to scan codes of other users games. Some of them are pretty awesome.
It may be an old style of making games, but it's the only the official way to make games on an actual DSi handheld system as of now.

It seems to be pretty popular in Japan. It was just released on the eShop in NA last Thursday.

The eShop (re)release is new for those outside Japan. But no PAL release just yet, so i'm... waaaaiting... :<

Yea, it's sad that PAL/EUR owners don't have this yet. There is LOTS of potential for this. Yet, there aren't very many users outside of Japan willing to make something out of it. 

I'm hoping some day someone would come and attempt to make a Mario game, or a MegaMan game from this. It's supossed to be targeted toward beginners to game design. There just needs to be more user content from our side to get this into motion. :-|

Yup, I thought it was going to happen eventually. It was bound to happen, and I was correct.  A MegaMan game being done on Petit Computer!

This one is being done by another programmer. It seems to be in the beta stages. It seems to be pretty decent so far for what it's worth. May not be 100% accurate, but it's getting there. It looks better than whatever I could do in SmileBASIC, which is what Petit Computer uses.
