I'm not a New Yorker, never have been, but Strike Man is so totally the illegitimate child of Mr. Met. The resemblance is uncanny. And if Inafune really is a Mets fan, then this pic better be on his office wall one day. 8D So I had to bring it to life.

VOTE!...tomorrow through Sunday of course...

I have a feeling I will draw plenty of Strike Man one day, just to get all my other ideas I had for him this week out of my system.

So much win. Very appropriate too considering Inafune's favorite team is the Mets.

Haha, yeah you did some nice combos with him. Sometimes it just takes a switch up to find your groove. Keeps your game fresh too, and unpredictable.

Haha, thanks. You're good too. You devastated me on a few. I really need to learn how to cope with lag though. There are many combos and openings I'm missing because of it. Offline is so much easier to play.

Yeah my controls were lagged about a second and a half usually. Some really tight matches though!

I'll get better someday, just you wait.

Anyone up for a few late night rounds?

But it's over one shoulder, and all the manly men, like Trieze, like the one shoulder capes!   8D

Awesome points for Gundam Wing reference.

Thank you all for your help.

Except you, Mr. "I know everything about the world".

If anything, Zan was defending you back there (albeit indirectly). Not to mention, as stated, the info posted by Aldo is a quote from Zan in another thread. Way to be an ungrateful dick.

Yankees = Good and Mets = Bad?

Don't let Inafune hear you say that! (hes a big Mets fan)

I kind of resent Inafune's rejection of 3 and his rose-colored goggles that somehow give him the idea that 4 is regarded as superior.

I actually think he's pretty spot on. Megaman 3 didn't feel quite the same as the others. It also had some really lame segments, like the Doc Robot Needle Man stage. The mood was very different. It felt darker for some reason. This doesn't make it a BAD game, but it does feel like somewhat of a black sheep. For this reason, some people like it more, because it is different.

There were even portions where you could actually get the game to trap you with no way out, forcing a console reset. That does make it kinda bad in my opinion.

I however don't mind the addition of the slide. I think Inafune didn't like that much. He really seems to push the 'simple gameplay' idea. This is especially evident in Megaman 9. Inafune did seem to like the idea of the charge shot though, from what I've read out of Official Complete Works.

I do like 4 a lot more as well, and generally consider it to be superior. It feels more in line with the feeling of 1 and 2.

Looks too close to MM10's 'awesomely bad' box art to be anything else really. Same looking cape, legs, arm blade, and rounded shoulder armor that Protoman has in the existing one already.

I'm not sure I've played the game enough to really say what my mains are, but I suppose these might qualify;

ChunLi
Ryu
Zero
Casshan

I can use just about any of them though.

Thanks. I still got a long way to go though, since I'm probably about 5 times better at SF4. You're good with Tekkeman Blade, I really need to figure a way around some of his attacks.

Did you leave? It's been "connecting" for a long time now. I saw the invite icon still, but I'm not sure if that was current or not.
