Ugh, my parents are hopeless sometimes. They wanted to try and watch Telemundo on their tablet for soccer that I couldn't give less of a [parasitic bomb] about, the way they tried to handle it was [tornado fang]ing DarkSydePhil-levels of stupid. They couldn't watch it unless they sign in with the Dish TV login information but they haven't keep that somewhere they can remember it and my brother who does remember it is in Colombia at the moment, but rather then do the sensible thing and just call Dish to try and get back the login information, they tried to take their issue with Xfinity on it, not even kidding. They overcomplicated something that could have taken at least 5 or so minutes of phone time, but instead had me waste almost an hour of time trying to translate this [parasitic bomb] on computer-literate terms for them that felt like time was going slower than normal that went nowhere. Waste of time.
I agree I feel MN9's hate is overblown a tad but there are some legitimate issues; it's quality is not even close to what it should be given the budget or the team behind it. But even looking past the visuals the characters are bland, the levels are likewise lacking in personality (compared to games like MMX1 and MM2) and the bosses honestly are kinda phoned in.

Removing all the disappointment and hype MN9 is a decent platformer but not amazing or groundbreaking I'm curiously if Concept will try to fix stuff in a sequal or if they will just drop the IP and hope Red Ash ends up being something decent?
At the risk of sounding like a rabid fanboy (and probably will), I somewhat agree and disagree. I am not going to lie, Mighty No. 9 does feel unfinished and unpolished in a bunch of aspects (presentation, gameplay and difficulty balance, and the English localization as well), though I'm no stranger with games that feel underdeveloped but was still enjoyable. I may have mentioned it before or not, but if I had to compare Mighty No. 9 to another game I've played before, it would be the 2010 re-imagining of Splatterhouse; both games had a rough development cycle, the finished product feels underdeveloped, and they're unpolished in similar areas (though Splatterhouse had great voice over performances, in my opinion), but despite their flaws, I had fun with them. In Mighty No. 9's case, Normal mode feels easy, I will admit, but when I switched to Hard/Hyper mode, things picked up for me, and rather than cheesing the game with Beck's Remote Cannon and deprave myself from any challenge, I actually took some time and experiment with the weapons and levels, get a feel for the levels and how to utilize the weapons. While messing around with the game, in a very small way, the levels reminded me of They Bleed Pixels after having a look at some replays of that game where some players went one approach for speed/time and others for score, and I can see a bit of that in Mighty No. 9. As much as scoring was pretty much solely bragging rights, it still motivated me to get better scores, and when I'm not feeling like score rushing or speeding through levels, I've done dumb stuff like using weapons that weren't better against bosses or change the controller set-up over my usual Mega Man Zero-styled set-up for fun. As for the characters, I don't find that many as bland except for Graham, Sanda, and Call though I can barely of give her a pass, though I'm with PB and enjoyed Avi's and Cyro's personalities.

This could also be just me having played the Wii U port for months up until recently getting the PC version despite seeing happened to Objection Man when he tried to stream it, my experience with the game has been so much better, and far better then I actually expected. Contrary to what Blackhook claimed, my medium spec desktop computer is able to run the game pretty well after all, much to my surprise. No lie, but my experience with the game coming from the Wii U version has been so far PC Master Race levels of good; I'm running the game on max settings at 1080p with barely any dropped frames (though from my experience, knocking MSAA down to 4x kinda helped and still looks almost a good as 8x), runs at a slick 60 FPS, and so far haven't ran into major bugs or game-breaking glitches, especially not what I've seen on the Wii U version. Objection Man also ran into controller problems with the PC version, but if I recall correctly, he was using a DS4 controller with unofficial XInput drivers. I, on the otherhand, am using a GameSir G3w, a third-party DS4-ish controller, but uses official Xbox 360 drivers, and the controller has worked very well for me, even with V-sync enabled, since I calibrated it from the start, input response has been spot on as my experience with Wii U version despite the frame-rate that version had.
Short version: at the risk sounding like a fanboy, as flawed, underdeveloped, and unfinished as Mighty No. 9 feels to me, I didn't need it to be ground-breaking or amazing, all I asked for out of it at the very least was to be decent yet enjoyable Mega Man-like game, and to be honest, that's exactly what I got.

Though the nub does not work for Kid Icarus Uprising for some reason.
Okay, that's going to hurt my chances of buying Kid Icarus Uprising digitally...

I also wanted the smaller one since I didn't want the huge screen and touch screen, I mean compared to the original's tiny screen this was a huge upgrade and I liked the face plate customization.....or I would like the face plate customization if NoA wasn't so wishy-washy about it and actually gave the standard a chance here......I have to import those because of NoA's BS.......
This. Just, this right here.

But another downside with the New 3DS is that it needs a micro SD card, and you need a tiny screwdriver to actually be able to put it in.
Way ahead of you. owob *busts out the mini-screwdriver kit*

But in all seriousness, a mini screwdriver set shouldn't set back you too much though a single size #0/PH0 screwdriver should be fine. Not only for replacing the micro SD with one that has more storage space than what comes with the New 3DS by default, but also for switching face plates. Here's a tutorial I found for opening the New 3DS's bottom plate if anyone needs some help with that (although the guy here used his hand to pop the plate off instead of using the round end of the stylus).

And I think a few games like Gunvolt 1 got updates to support the extra ZL and ZR shoulder buttons to switch weapons without having to use the pause menu to do that. That and someone mentioned only New 3DS can actually run Super Nintendo games on the eShop because of the upgraded CPU.

Dammit, if only the black regular New 3DS came out way sooner, it would not only save me a lot of money from what my family spent on for the Animal Crossing bundle, but I could have gotten a New 3DS that would match perfectly with this faceplate PB mentioned as well as the Power A Zelda carrying case I got for mine. Oh well... at least I found a decent substitute for the white one when they were in stock.

Apparently the black, regular-sized New 3DS with a matching Super Mario Bros. faceplate was being sold for $99 this Black Friday in Walmart and sold out in a heartbeat. [tornado fang] my life... :|

Just bought Mighty No. 9 on the Steam sale and it's nothing like the cancerous hatedom are it claiming to be. 32-bit version so far worked fine for me. Not sure what to spend the leftover money I got from this giftcard I got as an early Christmas gift.

• Work boots for the Winter season
• New jeans since my old ones don't fit anymore
• Groceries
• Burgers, fries, chicken nuggets, and baked potatoes from Wendy's since we spent a lot time last night on finding said boots that won't bother me and jeans in my size
• Today I used the last $2.18 on my Xbox account to buy Game Type and Explosionade before Xbox LIVE Indie Games dies in Q3 2017

I wish I could get the Humble Gems Bundle for Assault Android Cactus, Odallus, and Spaera but it's probably gonna be too late.

Does that mean your work computer is fixed or REmake's system requirements aren't that demanding?

I'm liking how this wallpaper works with Windows 10 with colors on the Taskbar off but shows colors the tabs of running programs.
