Blatantly ripping off an idea I found interesting from Court Records, here I am making a new thread (which is rather surprising and uncommon in and of itself). Post here your stories of any of those times where you've felt that there IS a higher being somehow in charge of making your dreams become reality.
Myself, I got a dream retroactively come true. :P
Back before I got to be such a rabid anime fan as I am today (during, if memory serves, summer of 1994), I got to meet Kouichi Tsunoda, chief animator back then of Toei Animation, in a conference where he was a guest of honor in a presentation of the Japanese culture in my country. Back then I couldn't really appreciate it as much as I'd do now; however, I DO appreciate the absolutely timeless memento I got from that time -- his [tornado fang]ing autographed business card. :D
I'll post pics of it tomorrow once I can coerce my lil' sis into getting the camera for me. XD

Meeting Scott McNiel and getting my Wily signed. Spending a weekend in New York with PB. Watchmen movie. Going to the premiere of several SW movies (I was too young to see even RotJ, so I needed to wait for the SE and Prequels).
That's all I can think of at the moment.

No, I don't think I've ever had a moment like that honestly. But seeing how many PB has had... and the shear AWESOME of them all, I'm reminded how much my life sucks. >_> CONGRATS PB, you lead RPM's most interesting life.
But I think we all knew that.

I'm a sad individual. Nothing ever happens that I really really, REALLY want to do (like go to !@#$ing college ><). Instead, all that come true are just [tornado fang]ing conversations and other random [parasitic bomb] (and I mean quite literally, it's like deja vu except I KNOW I had a dream of it happening once).

6 years ago. Finally being able to do this and keep the speed at 100%. I was enthralled.
On a second though it's pretty sad it's the only glorious moment I can think of right now.

Um, if you got the emulator from TASvideos, those settings should work right away. o.o
I think you also have to go to the "Video" section and change between those Direct3D and Direct Draw settings or whatever.
That might give you some speed too. ^^

nope. under those settings, the sound craps out, and the gameplay sometimes slows down. it was worse on Direct3D. when i mute it, i can play at full frame rate. but that sucks.

When I reached the ending of Ms Pac-Man's Genesis port. 50 straight levels, sad that I can never do it again on such a classic.
Ironically I did beat the GBA Pac-Man collection too.
