Now that you mentioned it... Cameron was an indeed an asspull. However, I still felt Tobias is the bigger one because he was never revealed beforehand. He just came out of nowhere to curbstomp trainers with his uber Darkrai. Yes, you could see glimpses of him in the background if you rewatch the episodes, but still...

Cameron at least had that "sideplot" of being mentally retarded. Yea.

Totally agreed on Iris. And needs more crossdressing Cilan.

Doesn't help there's like 3 Camerons that come up on a Bulbapedia Search.

But the reason I'm not bothered by Tobias is that it utterly amuses me that the writers had to resort to bringing out a guy with Legendaries out of nowhere with no explanation or speaking of it ever again just for Ash to lose the Sinnoh League. That and the fact Ash came the farthest with Tobias since nobody could even get passed the Darkrai except Ash.

So yeah Tobias owned everyone but at least Ash did something.
