Quick question, and forgive me if it's already been asked. Did Capcom of America literally remove the Graveyard from the game's data, or is i still accessible through some sort of code? Just wondering here.
-
No, it's there, just that the removed most headstones of past navi's: Example: Here lies woodman.
So only the boss and partner headstones remain in the US game.
-
Right... what about the Shinbok crossovers?
I forgot that it is still accessible. I meant the Japan version; the US version has a bunch of tweaked areas.
And what's up with the maps? That's something that's bugged me.
-
Right, the underground where Gregar is theres supposed to be a gate where all the crossover happens.
And I don't really get what you mean by maps.
-
Hoooly [parasitic bomb], I have not played EXE6 in ages.
The Graveyard areas and so on, etc, were annoying as hell.
-
Apparently, in the JP version, you can find basic maps of each area. Look up maps over at Sprites-INC and you'll see what I mean.

Is it? Isn't Django a white dot and the game crashes when using the Count chips or am I remembering something wrong? Hell, aren't the areas where the crossover takes place removed (I think it was in the real Graveyard 1)?
-
Yeah, that's what I was asking. What I meant is there is a dumbed-down Graveyard area in BN6; there was a much more full-fledged area in EXE6.
-
I see by your over world maps that it would be much easier to navigate with. Awesome.
-
Yeah. So, basically, I need to get off my ass and learn Japanese so instead being all, "Battle Network 6! YAY MISSING CONTENT!" I can be all, "EXE6! YAY FULL CONTENT!" Right?
-
Yeah, don't end up like me, with small content...

Well, at least we got Protoman FZ without the need of an E-reader as compensation *shrugs*

Protoman FZ
Rage image goes here.

So friggin' hard...
-
Remind me again why this was cut?
-
Shinbok wasn't released in America, thus the Shinbok related areas in BN6 would be odd or something. I think...

(At the mention of Protoman FZ) Rage image goes here.
Eraser Cross. The End.
Yeah. So, basically, I need to get off my ass and learn Japanese so instead being all, "Battle Network 6! YAY MISSING CONTENT!" I can be all, "EXE6! YAY FULL CONTENT!" Right?
Well yeah, that would be most ideal, but learning Japanese for a native English speaker can be a difficult task. It's not like French,Italian,German,Spanish, etc. Just learning japanese to play Rockman EXE 6, you would REALLY want to play the game or find a better reason to learn. Oh, you weren't serious? Well then... :)
I'm not really sure about all the details of the Graveyard, but there's no crossover battles in the US version without some MAJOR hacking involved. Megarock.exe shows what's left of the US crossover in this gruesome video:

Well, because Boktai's sales were low in the US. They didn't release the 3rd game in the US because of it, IIRC. Capcom decided to cut the content out because it was related to Boktai. I'm not sure, but I think you would've had to have Boktai 3 to crossover in BN6 anway.
-
I want to learn Japanese because I plan on going there someday, and knowing the language might help, ya know. That, and I can already speak some of it, and read a tiny bit of it. I'm ready for the challenge.
What was that second video? Gameplay hack or what?
-
Again, Good luck to you on that.
The second video was indeed a gameplay hack of BN6. MegaRock.exe created a series, just basically replacing BN6's story with the Waveman Incident. I found the series to be quite enjoyable...lots of hacked battles and custom sprites.

I want SolCross MegaMan!
