Yeah no kidding, English dubbing of Japanese shows and games have improved by leaps and bounds from what it was back during the early days of voiced games and early dubbed anime.

BUT IT'S A JAPANESE GAME SO THE VOICES SHOULD BE JAPANESE,  AND JAPANESE VOICE ACTING IS SUPERIOR, AND I WANT AN OPTION TO TURN THE VOICES OFF BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ENGLISH VOICE ACTING IN A JAPANESE GAME!

Agreed, at this point I'm more interested in level design and game play rather than the quality of voice overs. Like with Mega Man I'm not playing Mighty Number 9 for it's story or acting.  XD

Saw it by a long mile!
A character with the model number zero (a red guy like Blues or Zero) would show up sooner or later! Maybe the whole nuclear core thing will be added into this too. XD
Now we wait for Mighty No.X and Mighty No.Y to complete the set~ ~w~

And as for the plot, it certainly takes me back to the first Rockman game, where the robots used to be on the good side but turned evil. Capcom can't do anything about this, but then again, there's not much you'd want to do to stop this anyway, just make sure they make the game more challenging and it'll be alright.

Would've also been nice if the game took place in outdoor environments as well, like in the past Rockman games, being inside buildings, bases or facilities might not be everyone's cup of tea. ^^;

Also I thought Mighty No. 7 was Blues and Mighty No. 0 was well Zero.  People have also noticed some similarities between Mighty No. 0 and the Apple robot.

I would hope that Comcept is smart enough not to hire people off the street for a couple of bucks per line, unlike the localization team that worked on ZX Advent.

So I hadn't really watched much footage of this but a friend streamed the beta recently and I watched and it's lookin' to be pretty fun. I do regret not being able to back it but money issues being what they were it...

Megaman Powered Up, Maverick Hunter X, X8, and Command Mission all had much better voice acting as well though. Obviously not every game will be gold in the Voice over department but I'd still say english dubbing has improved greatly since the PSX days.

I don't think the actors in ZXA were bad, I just think they had bad voice direction.

Not to mention the very low compressed sound quality of the voice clips for a DS game.
The voice clips sounded all muffled or something. ^^;

A similar deal with Gunvolt, the Japanese voices should have been kept in the International versions, without it, it feels a bit empty, and not much emotion emit from the dialog unless you imagine it through reading in your mind.

So more information about Mighty No. 0 AKA Ray.  It seems I was wrong about him not being inspired by Protoman because they took a part of Protoman's backstory and took it to it's most (il?)logical extreme in the context of this game.  However the slacker backer goal has to reach 190, 000 for it to be a reality and if it happens it will come up during the summer.
