Then again, what good does Machine-Type monsters do anyway? I got plenty of them.. Iunno. And if anyone has that YGO DS game I'm up for a duel, if I could get my WiFi working again (and if I can find the damn cartridge..).

I've never built a machine deck due to my lack of machine cards, but judging by the XBLA YuGiOh game, Machine Decks are pretty damn dangerous. At the last PAX East YGO tourney, the guy who won used a Gadget machine deck.

That's pretty nasty, considering it's from a gadget deck. Was it because his opponents were poor deckbuilders? I have sufficient amount of machine types, but not enough to slaughter the competition like that. I can say he must got pretty lucky, or he was vet. One of the two.

I used to get my ass whooped how I constructed decks and tried to make it machine-themed. >.>

though i agree, i dunno why, theres tons of other far more overpowered cards out there, and this one has a drawback, even. You can't remove it from the field without removing it from play.


that said, I need to get my hands on a MoBC. Always wanted one... I would TOTALLY run it in a deck. Ritual or no.

I kinda stopped paying attention to the banned list after Metamorphosis wound up on it...  I loved that card.  Worked excellently with Thousand Eyes Restrict.

I think it was meant to be that if you attack your opponent directly with this card, with any xyz card equipped, you may win the match. However, it requires an XYZ to summon. period. Also I love how gagaga girl and this one is basically modern versions of the original cards.. And a nod to Lady Gaga, of course~

I might need to buy a deck so I can see the changes in the rulebook regarding XYZ cards..

That one card can certainly help fix that. Oh yeah. That one hammer magic card that destroys a monster on impact, regardless of ATK power. Also the Sonic Chick + Ring of Magnetisim combo. Real pain in the ass if you can utilize it.

My brother ALWAYS uses Tribe, so that's part of the reason I don't care to hold back.

A lot of it doesn't make sense to me, though.  Pot of Greed/Graceful Charity especially.  I mean, ooo, draw more.  Yeah, EVERYONE does it, but if you're that desperate to keep players from doing that, why bother limiting the cards in their hand at all? And why, if it's THAT big a deal, is Morphing Jar still allowed?

I can't possibly fathom the point of banning Giant Trunade.  Yeah, I know, it could be part of a damn evil combo, but that's kinda the point of thinking when you build your deck.

Also, Swords and Mirror Force aren't even limited?  Wow. Just...wow.

But that's the thing, I can't figure out if I'm playing it right, but my super nerd friend told me it went like this:
I declare attack
They declare traps or whatevs
I say wait nope Galaxy Eyes and your dude are going out of the game for a man to man talk

Just read up on that dragon. Damn that is a nice effect.

Ah, good 'ol card ejector. 3 of 4 also got boobs and balls of fur (what you get for being dark & grit, 5D's). I wonder if Kuriboh makes a good stress-relief toy by simply squeezing it..

I used Card Ejector as a part of a nasty combo once, and there's actually ways around broken cards too.

Nobleman Eater Bug + Card Ejector combo will kill two monsters upon flip summon while CE does it's thing by banishing the recently destroyed monters, keeping monster reborn (ab)users on the ropes. Will also have a 50/50 chance of keeping Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon at bay if you are lucky enough that the dimwit in front of you doesn't know how to use it's ability properly. Plus you can tribute summon these two later for something stronger down the road. Since Card Ejector's effects are continuous you might want to protect her with..

Sonic Chick + Ring of Magnetisim combo. Sonic Chick's unique (and annoying) ability is that it can't be destroyed by any monster who has higher attack power than it in battle, so the opponent will have to bring out a utility monster or magic card to get rid of this one. Because you'll be having valuable cards on the feild, you might want to equip it with Ring of Magnetisim, which it'll draw all monsters' attack towards the monster with this equip card at the cost of stat reduction. Plus you gotta prep it with..

Red Eyes Black Chick. The end-all-be-all once it "fully matures" figuratively speaking. Once that's done you can tribute the fully-grown red-eyes for any of the following:

Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon
Red-Eyes Black Skull Dragon (in conjunction with Summoned Skull, that is)
Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon
