Try it with the 1.0 ROM instead. They may have realized it was still in there and threw it out.

Also, I didn't find it, someone else did. I'm just playing the messenger.

I sent this in as a little news article to The Mega Man Network, but figured since I had an account here still, and because I love all you Mega Man community folk so much, I'd share it here.

Check out this lost little map editor that exists for Mega Man X! You can re-enable it using some Pro Action Replay codes in your friendly emulator. Also, this lingers in Mega Man X3 with a different set of codes. Sadly, this does not show up in X2. More information can be found here:

Mega Man X3

Have fun!

I threw this wallpaper together a while ago when I was role-playing as Phantom for a friend's RP, and honestly, I think it's the best wallpaper I've ever put together for myself. I love the look of it. I forgot about it until the same friend I was RPing with brought up Phantom again. Thus, I put this back up as my wallpaper.

I was too lazy to show the icons, and I found the image in my Photobucket account, so I got lazy. Whack me.

Unfortunately (yet fortunately), I was only able to pick up Bass today. After buying Mega Man 10 and Final Fight 2, I only had just enough to buy Bass and no more.

Well worth it though, he's actually really fun to play as.

It's a booby trap!

I can definitely see where there would be a Metroid influence there with those stopper enemies in Pump Man's stage, but I think the Chill Man thing is a little too much of a stretch in my opinion. While they're both ice stages, I just don't see any further similarities.

Mega Man 10 and Smash Bros. Brawl lately, the former as I speak.

A special Wii package with Wii Sports & Wii Sports Resort, 2000 Wii points, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Punch Out!!, and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

Mega Man 10 will follow as soon as I can connect my Wii to the internet.

Ah, thank you!

Unfortunately on your Super Mario Sunshine quesiton, I'm afraid I can't answer that one 'cause I'm not familiar with the game. I can, however, uselessly tell you that there's a leftover Trampoline object and half-finished Blargg enemy in Mario 64 though.

Avoid novel studies on books more than 10 years old.  This generation needs excitement and quite frankly, The Crysalids and To Kill a Mocking Bird are lacking.  Don't get me wrong; I'm sure they were great books for their time, but that's exactly my point:for their time.

I wouldn't teach a novel, I only have about five weeks in which to teach the course, and even then, it's only about three days a week on most weeks.

Short stories, however, are yes.

I haven't had much in the way of fast food in the past few years, mostly because I'd been on a diet and lost 100 lbs. However, I have had a craving for a Big Mac lately. I used to work at McDonald's (and eat there often in town), but I never tried a Big Mac until I was almost 19. Go fig. o.O

People think my last name is Cressen because of my Rick Cressen character. It isn't. :p

I think, if you visit the Rare Witch Project, that they found evidence of the unused Stop n' Swop. What it was supposed to do was that you play one game, and then very quickly, you take the game out and replace it with another game, and the data would somehow carry over from one game to another.

I really don't know how the technical aspects of it works, but they did happen to find it, I know that much.

Speaking of Rare, there's a lot of unused Donkey Kong Country stuff, surprisingly so. I'll see if I can dig it up sometime in the near future.

In the Japanese version of Kirby's Dream Course, there's a smorgasbord of unused/test levels! This video proves it. Unfortunately, I don't have a code on me for a level modifier at this time.

No worries, Sakura. I have an 'everybody can do it!' attitude and I plan to mix it with fun.

As far as some stories go, I'm thinking of tossing in a Poe story (probably The Cask of Amontillado), An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge by Ambrose Bierce, and possibly The Ransom of Red Chief by O.Henry. I'm thinking for a major assignment to be a "How-to" paper and turning it into a demonstrative speech, as a composition exercise.

Any thoughts?

Ikari Warriros II and Karnov for NES.

This boosts my NES game count to 295.

I sorta figured Bass was gonna be the third character from the start, so I'm not all that surprised.

It'll be interesting to see how he plays.

Well, well. Looks like that $13,105 price tag just got totally trounced.

I swear, I'm just going to get a repro cart of this made for my collection and call it good. >_>;

So, glad you liked them apples! Here's a new piece for the SNES port of Mortal Kombat.

The pro action replay code 8084CBA9 + 8084CC07 allows you to access a duplicate version of the Courtyard after the first battle. It plays Goro's fight theme (the one that plays when you fight Goro) as the main background theme, and massively slows down and crashes the game when you do a fatality. I'm not sure why they have this here, but I have two theories. One is that it was a test arena. The other one is probably a programmer's shortcut to attribute a music piece to a level, and then call it for Goro's fight.

I'm not really sure though at all what the deal is, to be honest.

I'm going to be teaching high school students in the summer.

Later on, it's my goal to be able to teach at the college level. Especially Creative Writing, as I have such a passion for poetry.

Alright, so this summer, I'm going to be teaching a couple of English classes for a summer program that I've worked for for a few years now. I'm sure everyone has gone through school here. I'm trying to get my happy curriculum all planned out for the students and I was wondering what kinds of things interested you in your high school English class (or equivalent). Were there any books, short stories, poems, etc., that you really enjoyed? Any special things you did at all that piqued your interested? Anything I should keep in mind?

The students will be getting a hefty dose of wacky. Contrary to popular belief, I am not a humor nazi. :p

I seriously need a new pic of either Rick or Dani Cressen to use in a wallpaper. Seriously, I think this is the fifth or six time I've used this exact same pic. It's cool, but I ain't got much. =/
