At any rate, someone posted the following comment on Gamefaqs:

Actually, and as unfortunate as this is, it's totally legal. Anything posted on Devianart can be confiscated by them and sold to others without any word or notification to the original user. This is most likely what's going on with Capcom and the Mega Man 10 webpage. MegaphilX's work was noticed by Capcom, and sold to them by Devianart.

So, basically, the only way for MegaPhil's art to not get stolen again, is to remove EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF ART FROM HIS DEVIANTART ACCOUNT and post it here, where it will be safe from anyone that dares to use it for "promotional" purposes, without informing the artist that made them. -_-

By the way, Gatuca, this applies to you, too (regardless or not you don't post anything new on your DA account)! Oh, and StarSimsUniverse, and Great Gonzo, and Gauntlet...Oh dear. X(

I have a two year old account, if that's what your asking.  It contains mostly sprites anyway, most of the art is basically drawings scanned onto a printer, because I lack the skills in photoshop.

You assume DA doesn't keep some rights over the image. This may be a good time to look carefully through their TOS agreements that you pretty much blindly agree to when you make an account (since no one ever reads through them carefully.)

Who's to say roll got the virus immediately? It could have happened three weeks after the outbreak. Plus no one really knows where it came from so they have no idea how to stop it.
