Need some advice, don't suppose anyone would be game?

On TFN, a user asked other users to rate their art. Their topic went on to say that their drawing came out "really good," so this user appears to be proud of their work.

Here's the topic, so you can judge for yourself.

I want to offer some advice and comment, but I'm afraid that anything I say, no matter how I say it, would be shooting down the user's aspirations. Thoughts?

Obviously they think it's much better than it is.

I think deflating that ego a bit would do wonders, as long as you let them know there is potential or some malarkey to make them feel better.

The head's well drawn, but the facial features look misplaced. Overall its a good drawing.

I just realized that Mario & Luigi would be pretty well respected in the Mushroom Kingdom even if they weren't otherwise heroes, considering how big a deal warp pipes would be for travelling and trade.

Is this a grand jury sort of thing or are you just one of those standby jurors? If the latter, then you only spend a day, really, doing nothing, except for the occasional interview, where you can show some hints that you're biased. Then you get a check for $40 two weeks later.
