I do like Ivy's newer design but Joker's older one is better.

The Batman hands down has the worst design of Joker. I guess I appreciate them trying to change it up, but it just didn't work.

Yeah, some of the episodes weren't quite as good in that timeframe... but there are still some really good ones in there.

Yeah, come to think of it actually, I also quite liked the episode where Batgirl "dies".

Yeah I didn't really like a lot of The Batman's designs.

Agreed.

Though I actually really liked the show up until Robin came along. Then afterwards, Batgirl showed up and it just got worse and worse.

Actually Batgirl showed up first then Robin showed up, though for some reason they introduced Robin like he already been working for Batman but didn't show up until them.  It was so damn weird.

Ah. Well it's been a while since I watched it. All I know is that once he got sidekicks, the show became [parasitic bomb].

I think I stopped after Robin showed up, I actually kinda liked Barbara in there since she was friends with Poison Ivy before she became Poison Ivy so that gave her a reason to become Batgirl.  But I would have preferred if she was older than she was in the show.

While I do watch & like Iron Chef America, it's not nearly as awesome as the original show was. That show pretty much started the Food Network.

Agreed it just felt more amazing, and lots of fish I noticed.  Lots of fish.

Which makes sense since it's Japanese, along with the mushrooms.

Iron Chef Italian rarely gets picked. Poor guy. XD

But of course. Japan loves seafood!

Maybe they felt he wouldn't be much of a challenge compared to the others?

Yeah, I'm betting that's the case.

All the other Iron Chefs are much older men, so they have far more experience. The challengers likely choose them to really test themselves.

Yeah plus with Chefs that specialized in Japanese and French cooking it would really be challenging.

I don't recall Sakai (French) ever losing to the challengers.

French cooking is pretty hard to master.

True.

As for the other three... I think the Jap cuisine lost the most... Or was it the Italian... The Chinese one was quite strong, iirc.

Were more of the challengers trained in Japanese cooking, it's been a long time and I barely remember anything.

Very much this for me, as well!

Also, if I recall, Chen (Chinese) is the one who won most of the time.

I think the Japanese chef was about 50/50 with his wins and loses. So in a way, he was probably the most fun to watch, as it was usually anybody's game.

... Now I want to listen to Batman sing "Am I Blue"

Such a terrible episode, but the last bit was hilarious.

I'd post this in the listening thread, but right now I'm thinking about how Japan always takes it up a notch in everything; including cooking shows.

Iron Chef Theme Song

I mean, seriously, this theme is for a [tornado fang]ing COOKING show. :o

Hans Zimmer, you god. <3

Now I see where this theme:

Breath of Fire III - Enjoying the Flavour

Was based from.

Fear me.
