The first slow part of this, is a separarte song actually. It's supposed to be like a, you know, arcade game cutscene song before the battle.
Oh yeah, all made with soundfonts from CPS2 arcade games.

Here's my take on Kite's theme from .HACK//IMOQ

I hope you like it. If not, I'll just try again, with different take on this.

As for my personal feelings towards this track:
I believe it lacks something, but I'm not sure what. I tried experimenting, but nothing really added to this song, and only seemed to [tornado fang] it up. So here it is.

I tried to kinda convey the "dramatic" struggle of Kite, while trying to rescue Orca from the coma. All his battles with phases of Morganna. Though I could have gone for more heroic approach. Eh.

I really like it, maybe find someway to fit that creepy bell from the Phase battle themes but otherwise I don't have any criticisms. Not sure why but I could see this music easily fitting in a PS1 era Capcom fighting game.

As for the bell... I actually just wanted to keep it with the CPS2 samples, but if I'll ever make a theme song for this guy with regular instruments, I'll keep that in mind.
And it's good you're imagining it with Capcom fighting games in mind, because this is the kind of thing I have in mind when I made this. And other CPS2 things of mine. They're supposed to be at least a bit like old Capcom fighters music.
