She's the captain of the ship Seireisen (Which can become Myorenji temple after), but her ability has nothing to do with the ship, so it's just for decoration as you said.

Awesome pic as usual! The background fits it well too! I showed my roommate just now, since she likes Touhou a lot, and she said, "Not bad. It needs to get a bit wider, though, so it can be used for the desktop." ^_^

Just a copy-paste-free transform, I've found that pic and think it's okay for backgrounds

Yet I still not have the drawing skill to make that level of background, just trying.
