...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Think maybe you could control a whole robot with some kind of kinetic link some day?

I'd say.. but I never fully got to watch the video because it was cut-off half way through the 60-minute video.. but it's really impressive how a person like him to fight for his own wellness, looks like he achived it.. so far.

Now that gives us a question.. what does a chicken really think, when you put the cap on it..?

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

It cant read minds... It reads the brainwaves... though personally, Id find that it might be easier for them to try and make a mechanical arm that can interpret the electrical signals made by the nervous system. It would be a simpler system that having a chip implanted in your brain that has to be connected through a port on your head. this way, its just like an artificial nervous system interpretation. it interprets the electrical signal, and the corresponding part moves accordingly.

But thats just me.

It's about time. We're really staying behind in the science fiction schedule. It's already 2009 and we have no space colonies, no alien lifeforms discovered, no racism against robots, no suicide booths. What the hell.

I'm glad this has finally been brought to public attention. I am a firm believer in science and that it's used to help people. Something like this can lead to many doors.

haha, Youve read that story which name escapes me.
Also, we DO have that International Space station... with astronauts living there... Id say that's "getting there"
Im more surprised we haven't sent astronauts up to mars yet.

just one step closer for the machines to control us..
You mean we're not there already?
We are controlled by our electronics. Ho many people have I heard saying "I couldnt live without my sidekick/Phone/whatever!"
Or people saying they would die without Cable or AC.

And those robots will run on Google Chrome OS.
Aw hell no... D:

no racism against robots.

I do belive they are still in the works, there has yet to be a prototype that we can all agree on and hope they go berserk and learn about "civil rights". :/

I can't wait to be able to navigate the Internet without any hands.

That's means twice the attention for my genitals.

And with advancing genetics and surgery you will soon have multiple genitals and a pair of boobs.

Personally, I think they'll perfect the handless genital massager before they do Skynet.  Porn Tech is coming along nicely.

To hell with the future, it's the time-travel-screwed past I'm concerned with.  I want my frikkin' hover-steam engine.

IIRC the whole brain-implant-to-control-a-computer-pointer thing was done before.  But robotic arms and a slip-on cap to pick letters, that's new to me.
